My wife and I greatly enjoyed our 8 night stay. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and well appointed. The few negatives (like the small round toilets!), was far outweighed by the overall quality and services of the hotel.

Our stay was comfortable and pleasant but the highlight of our stay were members of the staff. Two examples: we arrived early on an overnight flight before official check-in time. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of the male staff who took care of us but he acknowledged our situation where we were extremely tired and after waiting for about an hour or so while our room was getting ready he allowed us to check-in early and get some rest, which was so helpful for us to adjust. Secondly, Yessi was incredibly friendly and informative during our stay, providing useful information about places to eat, visit as well as having the patience for us to practice Spanish with her whenever we encountered while she was working. Moreover, she would check in on us several times during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our Quito stay.

Two things which spoilt and otherwise good experience: 1. The rooms did not have any air conditioning and they become hot during the day. On request, we got a table fan with barely any air flow. Even with the window open, it was too hot for comfort. 2. The internet in the room was far too slow by today's standards. Very disappointing. The fronts desk team was amazing sweet hand helpful. I will give full five stars for giving us rooms a little early than check in as we arrived at the hotel. The breakfast buffet have a very wide range to satisfy varying requirements. Every floor has water dispensers for hot and cold water. Five stars for this as well.

We stayed at Mercure Alameda Quito for 2 nights and had a great experience overall. The location is excellent for exploring the city, and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was very spacious, and the hotel offers great amenities, including a well-equipped gym, indoor pool, jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, and sauna. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day. The only downside was that the rooms don’t have air conditioning. While Quito is known for its cooler climate, our room became quite warm during the day, and at night I found myself waking up sweating and taking the covers on and off to cool down. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it for its excellent service, location, and overall comfort.

I enjoyed my stay with Mercure Alameda Quito. The staff and fitness/pool facilities were all excellent, and the breakfast was adequate though perhaps lacking in protein options. The rooms themselves were odd, very generous spacing but slightly sterile and will benefit from the progressive renovations the hotel is undertaking. Bathrooms were renovated and very nice. The Guest experience team, particularly Maria Jose, were excellent in helping us navigate Quito and get the most from our stay.
