We found the hotel to be clean and tidy and the staff helpful. The rooms were spacious, the Spa was lovely and the attached Spicy restaurant, good food and service.

Compared to other Mercure hotels I've been to (like Berlin for example), I found the staff here very friendly and attentive, I got a nice and quiet room, a comfy bed, and everything was super clean—overall a very pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was good, but I wish there were more Ecuadorian options (for example, more quinoa fritters). Waiters and waitresses in the restaurnant were very friendly and attentive. One small disappointment: I ordered a soup with “capelli d’angelo” (angel's hair), but it was served with spaghetti instead. Still a great hotel and I would happily stay again.

The suite was spacious and comfortable, but what was included in the room was very disappointing. I think the highlight was the sauna and pool area; it was very relaxing to spend some time there. The hotel’s location is also good, not very far from the historic city center and other tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the suites don’t include a kitchen or even a microwave oven. I also had to call reception to request an iron and ironing board, and it took some time for them to be delivered. The view from our room was terrible as well. In addition, the area around the hotel felt very unsafe, and I do not recommend going outside in the evenings.

I was there two different timess The first time, my room (414?) was very weird--luggage rack on other sidde of room, tv not easily seen from bed, limited to no shelf/tble space. The second room (607) more than made upfor it. The staff was great!
