Overpriced donga room

I arrived at 11pm to find that the re riot I had printed from my computer booking apparently meant nothing so I had to pay another $189. The night clerk booked me a taxi for 9.30am. This booking apparently did not happen. I spent the night in a grotty room with a tiny donga shower then in the morning the day manager booked me another taxi which arrived ten minutes late then added a ten dollar surcharge to my bill to cost me $25 to get back to the airport to catch my connection. So I felt ripped off by ibis and ripped off by the taxi

Why is it more expensive to booked with front counter that through some third party service providers?

It’s a budget hotel, so not much to say. There is no power points near the end or a lamp/night light which was really annoying.
