The front desk staff was not pleasant to deal with. They got our names wrong on the invoice.

We are delighted that you enjoyed the prime location of our hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of The Hague and within easy reach of both cultural sights and the beach. However, we apologize for the less than satisfactory aspects of your stay. We understand the importance of a peaceful environment, especially during the night, and regret that noise disturbances occurred. Additionally, we acknowledge that having more ironing facilities available would be beneficial for our business travelers and your suggestion has been noted. We are also concerned to hear about the unpleasant odor in your bathroom and the perception of our pricing and buffet etiquette. Regarding our team's demeanor, we are disheartened to learn that our service did not live up to your expectations. Our guests' comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we regret that we fell short in this regard. We would like to point out that our guests generally appreciate the quality of the service and we take your comment very seriously as we strive to ensure a pleasant stay for every guest. Finally, we would like to reiterate the convenience of our hotel's location, placing guests at the center of The Hague's vibrant life, with easy access to public transportation and major tourist attractions. Beautiful historical city

This is such a beautiful city with so much history. Residents are so polite and most surprisingly spoke English . Beautiful flowers all over. Easy and accessible transportation via euro rail and buses. Loved how environmentally conscious city is with wooden to go utensils and biodegradable to go cups. Stores close very early (5 or 6) which was surprising. Stayed at IBIS here and in Amsterdam. Very simple rooms, but we didn’t come to sleep. Day staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. Even provided a wheelchair for my mom, which was very an awesome. Perk. Night staff was pretty unfriendly, but working nights is brutal.

Disappointing

The staff were really nice and helpful, food at the bar was acceptable. The room was small, hot, stuffy and basic, and overlooked quite a noisy road. We had to ask for a fan (no aircon) ask for a kettle (no tea/coffee making facility) and although we were given mugs with the kettle, we were not given any tea or coffee! Thank goodness I travel with supplies. Nowhere to put anything, they obviously assume people only stay one or two nights, we had 9 nights (for a sports tournament) and found the lack of space challenging, we were provided with about a dozen coat hangers, at least there was hanging space! A double room with only one chair is an interesting concept. Room servicing was minimal, bed thrown together, clean towels provided, dirty cups not dealt with except by us. And for a Accor to claim they are trying to be planet friendly, the plastic bathroom was something to behold. Along with plastic tables and chairs I did not see much that was environmentally friendly. Breakfast had a good variety and the staff were able to provide me with gluten free rolls every morning for which I was very grateful, shame there were no other specific GF foods so thank goodness for the cheeses, ham and eggs. Overall disappointing, on the plus side, easy to access places of interest, trams and restaurants.

Concerning the room amenities, we provide coffee and tea-making facilities in our Premium rooms and always encourage our guests to reach out to our 24-hour reception for any additional requirements they might have. Furthermore, we are continuously working on our sustainability practices to minimize our environmental impact. Your remarks are taken to heart as we strive to enhance our guest experience. Nevertheless, we are delighted that you enjoyed the variety of the breakfast and found our location convenient for accessing local attractions and public transport. Well located, medium stay

Room smelt smokey, airco didn’t work. Bad pillows (way too soft, no support whatsoever) and hairs on towel. Toilet didn’t flush properly and soap dispenser needed fixing. Breakfast was somewhat basic but okay. Staff was friendly. A lot of noise in neighbourhood, did not go well with broken airco (window had to be open).
