A nice hotel. It has everything you need for a quick trip. My only issue would be that the soundproofing on the room doors needs a bit of work. I was woken a couple times but other guests (drunk) going back to their rooms and talking loudly in the evening. So a bit of extra soundproofing on the doors would have this as a solid hotel choice for a quick trip into London. It's the perfect location for the Excel and a great choice if you are looking for a solid room for a few nights with some comfort, all without breaking the bank.

After a mistake i made with the booking i contacted Ibis multiple times in order to rectify this before my stay to no avail as i was told each time my request was not possible by the central team. On arrival to the Hotel a young man named Theo working on the check in counter was very helpful in asking his duty manager if it was possible to fix my issue and with every time i passed through the lobby (3-4 times each day of my stay) Theo went to the effort to update me on my issue and what the net steps would be for me. This was a huge help and relief to me as i did not have to chase for answers and help, he recognised me everytime and made his way over to give me continuous updates until my issue was solved.

Reception staff extremely efficient and friendly on arrival and throughout our 2 night stay! Our room was on the 8th floor which surprised me as I am disabled and was slightly worried how I would exit the building should an incident occur. The room was clean but there was a bad smell of drains which we brought to the attention of the manager. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
