Very basic, tired and some areas not clean. Carpet in lift filthy and stained. Room dark with small window. TV very old. No hairdryer in the room had to fetch one from reception where they keep them. Staff at reception were friendly Unfortunately I didn’t want to stay there so after my work event packed, then checked out and left so can’t comment on breakfast. For over £100 a night this was awful.

Great location with only a short walk or taxi to centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was super clean. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed with friends, booked several rooms. The hotel is clean but very dated rooms. Woodchip walls, bathroom is a plastic pod. Hotel is not in the city, be prepared for a walk. Breakfast booked for the second morning, there was no items left, complained, food brought out, then they ran out of cutlery. After a further wait, cutlery replaced, then plates ran out, waiting again, then back to hardly any food. Hash browns deep fried in oil which needs hanging desperately. To top it off, we paid for the breakfast the day before but nobody wrote it down so had to argue why we shouldn’t have to pay a second time prior to actually getting our breakfast.
