Travellingnoodles TripAdvisor review

I stayed there recently, and after 2 days I received an extra charge for cleaning fees stating that there was urine in the bed. Ironically, I hadn't even slept in the bed as it was disgusting, and I ended up staying at a friend's house nearby after the hotel claimed there was a mattress topper... There wasn't, and even if there was, that doesn't mean it's suitable for sleeping on. Air conditioning was nonexistent. After asking them to turn it on, they stated it was switched off for all residents. I couldn't open the windows until I'd gone through a whole process of signing forms stating the hotel wasn't liable for anything that went missing. I assume they're struggling with money and cutting corners where ever possible, as well as trying to scam tourists with additional fees. I wish I'd seen some of the more recent reviews before booking this place. It looks like once upon a time this was a good place to stay.

This Novotel is superb! It has the friendliest, best staff in the business and is quell located for Keleti station / the Metro & trams. Despite being ion a main road the only thing you can hear is when police/ambulance go past, so very quiet for a city centre.
