Check in was a little slow as there was a big group in front of us and only one person on reception but the rooms were clean and fine for work purposes. Unfortunately, someone was smoking in their room and set the fire alarm off at 1am ish. It took the staff far too long to manage the situation, find out who it was and stop the alarm, there wasn't clarity on what to do and most people found their way to the fire exit without any staff support. I'm not sure the staff were as well drilled as they should have been. Breakfast was perfectly fine and bag drop was useful.

Enjoyed a two night stay between Christmas and new year. Friendly reception staff on arrival and throughout our stay, let us check in early which was much appreciated as we had travelled by train. Room was clean and bed comfy. We had breakfast which was good and plenty to chose from. Good value for money. We have stayed a few times before and always meets our expectations.
