The hotel was fine, but there are many other hotels in the area offering more modern facilities. The appearance was tired, hotel didn't smell fresh, and overall it felt run-down. The staff were very pleasant and helpful though.

We told reception that the bathroom obviously had drain problems as it smelt terribly and the water wouldn't go down in the sink. There was someone's facemask stuck to the chair that should have been cleaned due to covid . 9 hours later when we returned nothing had been done to the room. We requested another room and didn't even get an apology.

The hotel services was a delight, but rooms need a make over, as carpet was stained, walls need a fresh coat of paint. And cleaning the lights next to bed would be something to work on, as the amount of dust I found. Towels need renewed as they just feel rough and old. And could hear the traffic as clear as day. Curtains didn't close properly either. Positive bed was comfortable and enjoyed the shower. Even basic hotels should be kept maintained This one wasnt

The staff were very friendly & helpfull, the hotel is well situated close to the train station & the bus station, the hotel is a bit tiered looking, the bed rooms are comfortable, there was a lot of noise from boy racers at the back of the Hotel,

When we arrived at the hotel staff greeting was pleasant and thoughtful when we went to our room we found large toe nails on the floor I asked if the room could be hoovered this did not happen if the rooms don’t get hoovered what else is missing from the cleaning - breakfast over cooked the bacon was rock solid sausage very hard to cut not a good advertisement for the hotel - we have stayed here many times this visit for the wrong reasons will stay in our minds

Very pleased overall as I was with my previous stay. Have a few comments. Room was looking a bit tired. Different shades of paint around window. Pillow case was torn. Used the what’s app service to contact reception at 19.30. Got a reply to say thank you someone will get back to me. They did but at 07.35! Surprisingly there were no power sockets near the bed. Nearest was the desk. Only 4 in the room. One was the tv. As an accessible room for wheelchair users having the power sockets so far away was very difficult to access them. Breakfast was excellent. superb staff we spoke to were great. Really friendly and helpful. Minor points but they add up. Would definitely use the hotel again. Great location. Very good price. £52 two people included paid for breakfast. Very happy

Hotel in general was good, clean, shower had good pressure. But will someone please explain to me why the air conditioning was turned off at night! ABSOLUTE SWEAT BOX which turned our night terrible.

The system we have is a hot and cold air unit. This works on the temperature outside the building. Once the temperature drops below 20 degrees celsius outside the system automatically stops blowing cold air and this is why it will have switched off at night.
