Large comfy room. No milk for tea or coffee. Room was superior as advised but sound insulation very poor, could hear every word of conversation next door!! This is reported by others online. Breakfast was so so, poor selection of pastries, no orange juice and coffee machine malfunctioning. Scrambled egg undercooked and sausages horrible therefore did not eat any hot food. NO TOASTER! Really, in 2026, that is ridiculous. Not up to other Mercure hotels standards!

We stayed one night as was on a POW tour, with a group. I booked direct online. Arrival at check in was quick. Staff were Friendly and very helpful, both on reception & in the reasturant.

Good location for the train station and restaurants. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room we were in was in need of refurbishment. The two single beds we had were like camp beds. I don’t think this was typical of all rooms.
