Single night stay. Reception attentive. Room comfortable. Safety issue with dry bathroom floor being very slippery in bare feet or socks. Meal service good but meals only average quality.

Traffic very noisy at night. Because no room serviced on Day 2 no coffee or tissues. didnt think bed as comfortable as stays on previous times. Room felt stale as if someone had previously smoked in room. Previous stays much better.

We truly value your ongoing support and were pleased to see that you found our reception team excellent and your arrival and departure experiences seamless. That said, I am genuinely sorry to read that this stay did not meet the standard of your previous visits. Please accept my sincere apologies for the traffic noise, the lack of servicing on Day 2 resulting in no replenishment of coffee and tissues, and the condition of the room on arrival. The unvacuumed floor and the insect remaining in the room for the duration of your stay are certainly not reflective of the level of cleanliness we strive to maintain. I also regret that the room felt stale and that the bed was not as comfortable as you have experienced with us before. Your comments have been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for immediate review and follow-up. We are also reviewing our servicing communication to ensure expectations around multi-night stays are clear and that amenities are always replenished when required. Regarding the promotional messages about saving 20% for two nights or more, I apologise for any confusion or disappointment caused. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will ensure the offer details are clearly communicated to avoid similar frustration in the future. I booked through the app as a Gold member and received an excellent price for the room. From checkin to check out the staff were friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed including an iron which was much appreciated!

I had to stay for over 2 weeks as my mother was seriously ill. I was giving a quiet room out the back. It was perfect. When I needed to extend my stay, this was no problem. Sadly, my mother died, and the staff were wonderful. When my aunt and uncle also stayed at the IBIS Thornleigh, the staff were enormously kind to them as well.
