The door smelled of foot odour, or water had damaged the carpet. The room work desk had a board across that made it impossible to sit under the desk and work. The internal phone did not work, and I could not contact reception. I had to use my own phone to contact reception. The WIFI guest link did not work, and reception helped me navigate through another method than that on the hotel's Wi-Fi webpage. It seems to be a very outdated and 'tired' room. Even the breakfast was not appetising, so I chose to eat elsewhere. I had to call reception from overseas to book as the website kept crashing.

As always the overall experience was great. The staff stream me very well. However this time I noticed that the curtains were particularly dirty and there was the smell of smoking in the hallway. Regardless of this I’ll happily return as it’s great value for money and perfect location for me.

Good budget option

WE go here quite often as it is handy to a function we attend most months. Patrick, the manager, has managed to accommodate our request for an early check in so we can drop our bags and head for a bus to our event. Rooms are small but clean with good linen and a comfortable bed. Now have a chef, so meals are getting expanded from the basic "grab and go" menu.
