I have stayed several times here and the quality descents every time. Only buffet is left and other restaurants are not open anymore. Staff is not friendly at the restaurant. Cleanliness off the rooms is very disappointing. The left elevator is still giving the same issues as years ago. I hope they will do some upgrading on the rooms as otherwise I am forced to look for another hotel.

Pleasurable stay but with REMARKABLE flaws.

• Even though we had a reservation, check in was so difficult to make. Once we arrived at the hotel the agent at the reception kept telling us to come back every thirty minutes because our rooms were not ready. Only one room was ready at 15:30 and we have to wait more for the other one. This was very unprofessional and made us feel like we were not welcome. • The rooms that had been assigned to us were not as “stylish” as the ones shown on the website. And lacking some functionalities such as power plugs! One bedside lamp was even missing. The bathroom was quite basic with a bathtub that doesn’t have a cover for its sink. Tough, we enjoyed the complementary drinks that were served everyday in the minibar fridge. • The swimming pool was good as it was surrounded by the garden which made the view when swimming really enjoyable. • Breakfast was okay. Variety was not there and the amount of food that was served was not sufficient. As there is not much food left by 10 am. • The hotel is very well located, many shops and restaurants nearby with a free shuttles to Algiers’ international airport. • Room service personnel was super friendly as their were there to help with every inquiry! • Overall, our stay was satisfying! But didn’t match our expectations because all of the imperfections cited above made it feel like we were not staying at an international chain hotel.

I think this hotel requires an important revamp. Lack of personnel at the reception. Lack of flexibility for the computer system to re-adjust invoices concepts. Bathrooms and rooms are getting obsolete. At the restaurant, there is also lack of personnel. Even if it is a buffet, two waiters for the lounge full of people is not enough. I asked a glass of wine by the glass and it was sour. And they can't get the glass of wine as part of the meal, it has to be classified as "bar ...". The restaurant lounge is also getting obsolete. The gym is also obsolete. The hotel compares poorly with the Hyatt. I hope this helps. I know it's not what the management would like to read but it's important to know. Best Regards.

Chose the Mercure because of the ALL CLEAN standard - apparently the first to secure this rating in Algiers. However, beyond the hand sanitizers and staff wearing masks, guests were free not to wear one inside the hotel. Worse was when guests were looking/taking food at breakfast and dinner buffet with no masks! Also disappointed - booked the online/pre-paid rate. Wasn’t honored - kindly stop offering pre-paid rates if you the property cannot accept digital cards.

I stay 1 night in Algiers for documents regularistion I stay in Mercure hotel because is good situation same way from Constantine and near to airport. Hotel is good people in reception and the room is clean and good maintenance 2 restaurant and fitness and room service Compteur and printer in the reception all facilities No to long time for going to town center

I have had an excellent experience at the Mercure hotel in Algiers. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and the rooms were very clean with comfortable bedding. I would recommend this hotel for business travelers as the location is very near by the airport with airport shuttle service.

Hotel has to be renewed. Rooms are very old and poor especially the bathroom. Sometime they didnt recognized my Gold status so no welcome drink and any upgrade. Staff on the reception is nice even the system to give the room is very slow even when checkout because credit card authorization taking more than 15 minutes

this is the first time I have stayed at this hotel and to be honest it would not be my first choice moving forward. I cannot fault the staff, they were all very helpful and couldn't do enough for you but as for the accommodation it was very dated and for the price you pay and what you get I would chose to stay there again. The wiring in the room was exposed and the electric trip went when I turn the bedside light out!! also I had to reach under the sink in order to get the sink plug to stay in place, décor was very dated but fortunately the bed was OK. for what you pay and what you get I would think twice about using this hotel

The Hotel in general is good , is also clean and good food . The food buffet worth it , The hotel is located directly near the new Bab Al zouar shopping mall You can even go there on feet no need for taxi
