Sofitels are my home away from home, and it is no different with Sofitel Hamma Garden. Every year I stay here with my family when we visit Algeria. I chose the Sofitel, due to the location, the professional staff, and the comfort afforded on the executive level. The beds are very comfortable especially after a long day visiting the old city of Algiers. The breakfast is lovely, and the pool area is clean and large. This year they have introduced a spa with massage. My mother and sister tried it and said that the massage was relaxing and the masseuse clearly knew what she was doing as she was excellent. There were a few issues this time at the start of our stay, mainly due to maintenance that the hotel staff worked very had to resolve in a timely fashion. Mr Hacheche in particular made the stay very comfortable ensuring that my family was well received and enjoyed the stay. Thank you for the memories, we will definitely be back again next year!

Many thanks to abir the guest experince for her professionnel job,i booked for one night but because of her i stayed for two nights. Perfect suite and good environnement, thankful for the quality of service.. i wil back for sure to this hôtel and good staff but the staff of swimming pool must ne changed

Retuning to Algiers from a long haul flight, we found out a party was organised on the terrace of the former restaurant with loud music until 23.30. Our children could not sleep, which is usually why people go to a hotel. We felt being extorted of our money, and decided not to extend our stay. Very disappointing reaction from the duty manager (Mr Cedric I think) who did not take responsibility and blamed his reception staff for not assigning the proper room, when that room should not be assigned to anyone!!!

- Staff were very friendly and spoke lots of languages. - Breakfast and dinner were really nice, although breakfast was very very busy. - Rooms have a good view. - We missed our shuttle to the airport by a few mins and it left without us, so we had to pay 2000DZD for a taxi to the airport because they charge you so much more when leaving from Sofitel. This was disappointing. I was travelling alone with my two young children and Sofitel didn’t accommodate us or try to arrange another transfer.
