Unfortunately we made a typografical error while booking. It was not possible to change the date (one day earlier would have been required). As a consequence, we had to pay twice. The toilett was blocked and the flushing system was defective, the tube of the showerr was defective as well. Poorly maintained facility! Not the very best experience, not recommendable.

I fear I may have done something in a former life to be given a room as grim as this one. The carpet, tiles and walls are filthy. Room stank of 'recently used toilet' when I got here. I get that it's cheap and I expected basic, but if I visited a friends house and it looked / smelt like this place, I would stage an intevention, or perhaps an exorcism.

Staff rude on arrival re booking in we have never paid on arrival....asked staff ( same staff member ) where we could put our rubbish he said bin in reception didn't even look up to see that it was pizza boxes which wouldn't fit in said bin. Problem with key cards wouldn't work ( same staff member ) actually sighed ...have always had a positive stay here but will be thinking twice about booking again .

Stopped overnight in both directions driving between Glasgow and West Sussex. The staff at the Ibis Preston North are always helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, there's plenty of car parking space and the location just off the M6 is a perfect place to break a long journey. It's good value as well.
