We had to cut our stay short because of COVID-19. Duty Manager was very helpful. A little worried as the credit he emailed us to confirm we have says to use in 2020 and my husband has a number of hear conditions so we are self isolating for the foreseeable future. Let's hope this all is over soon and we can feel it is safe to come to Preston to visit our daughter but that could be some months away

No towels in room

Very brief overnight stay arrived at approximately 9 pm. No towels in my room, however, I only discovered this AFTER I'd took a shower! Having no room telephone to call reception and no other means to dry myself, I had to use the hairdryer provided in the room. Shocking mistake to make in what is, in essence, a very basic room - providing clean towels, along with clean bedding surely the primary concerns in a room of this standard? Reported to reception, who apologised, but obviously the damage was already done by then. Disappointed.

We unfortunately stayed during the Coronavirus outbreak and had to vacate mid booking, This was through no fault of the Hotels and Kyle at Preston kept us informed as to when we would have to vacate. Though most staff had taken leave due to the Coronavirus, Kyle would keep us supplied with our basic needs, towels , tea etc. The staff were very polite and helpful. I thank Kyle and his team during this difficult time.

Had a family room for a 1 night trip into blackpool and couldn't fault the room for what we paid £38 for a Saturday night stay for 3 the room was clean ,had tea,coffee making facilities, shower gel and soap dispensers In bathroom and plenty of TV channels plus a fab family pub next door will definitely use again

In light of the covid 19 I would of expected better hygiene in the rooms. But our room was filfy. I have lots of photographs to prove. The staff were all friendly and the food was good. But overall we could not get past the cleanliness issues and it some what spoiled the stay.

Second visit within two weeks as hotel is within walking distance of Royal Preston Hospital - due back at hospital again in 2 wks then again 2 weeks after, The hotel is great as our two pet collie dogs are allowed to stay. However the ground floor room allocated to us on this last visit was not of the same standard as our previous room. There were no towel provided - no heated towel rails - after evening shower had to use wet towel in the morning. Had to ask for extra pillows as unable to lie on one pillow. Otherwise staff very pleasant and accommodating.

Unfortunately the vast majority, if not all Ibis hotels do not have towel rails in the bathroom and also do not supply hand towels. You can however request an extra towels or 2 at reception. The Ibis brand standard is also 1 pillow per person and 1 spare in the room, however you can again, request extra with the reception if required. I am sorry that housekeeping hadn't left any towels in the room, I shall certainly address this with the housekeeping manager. I am pleased you found the team pleasent and accommodating. Asked for a quiet room away from the lift and on a high floor overlooking the car park,ended up with a room right next to the lift,and on a low floor overlooking the main motorway,so was noisy most of the night and people knocking on different room doors throughout the night which was annoying especially when trying to phone reception to get someone to come up and sort out the situation there was no answer!!so all in all I won't be going back to this particular hotel,only good thing is the convenience of the hotel being close to the motorway

Very good just poor flush toilet in room. Staffall very nice.

This was just an overnight stay, but was warmly welcomed after extended stays last year in relation to relatives in hospital. Any requests for extra pillows and towels were responded to immediately, and reception staff were very friendly and efficient. As a wheelchair user I do find the buffet breakfast problematic, but reception staff did offer to help.

Check-in was easy, and staff helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. Noise in the corridors during the evening and night was as bad as ever.

Excellent stay as always. Warm & friendly welcome as always from Reception. Room on rear of hotel was very quiet despite being right by the motorway, no sound at all heard as we had all the windows shut. Comfortable temperature. Good size, clean room with really comfortable bed & plenty of hot water. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, items replenished from the kitchen on a regular basis. Very satisfied.

good room easy to find, just one moan no soap in bath room

When we arrived we were initially quite impressed with the reception area and welcome we were allocated room 6 on the ground floor as we opened the room door it was a total mess the bed looked like someone had just got out of it and this was 7 pm approximately the bathroom had towels on the floor it was Like a war zone I went back to reception and was apologised to and after a few minutes reallocated a room on the ground floor as my wife is disabled I had requested a ground floor room it was room no1 the carpet was dirty cracked tiles in bathroom the walk in shower chair was rusty and dirty as you can imagine didn’t use it the bed was very uncomfortable over all not impressed at all and regrettably wouldn’t stay there ever again we didn’t have time to complain at checkout as we had to be at the hospital early this was the reason for our stay

Excellent reception, room on the ground floor and the heating was , bathroom has great walk in shower and a comfortable bed with extra pillow. It would have good if there had been a desk light in the table area,it was a little dark to read and write
