Outstanding Hotel

This was like a 5 star room at a very reasonable price. Having stayed in many hotels in Glasgow I will always return to this one. Everything about the room was perfect and could not be faulted. Most outstanding is the attitude and helpfulness of the reception staff.

I've stayed in ibis hotels a few times now, including this one and never had any issues, but this stay wasn't great. I had the worst sleep and woke up with my shoulder and back in agony because the bed had a massive dip in the left side and a huge bump in the middle so no matter where I lay I was all up and down and bumpy, the pillows were also absolutely solid, like laying my head on a slab, even the 2 extra ones in the cupboard were the same. Was really disappointed as I've never had an issue with ibis before and I didn't realise the bed was so bad until I was going to sleep so I wasn't getting ready to go and tell reception to end up having to pack up my things in the middle of the night to move elsewhere. I just got up as quick as I could the next morning and got out of there, which is something I've never done in a hotel as I usually need to drag myself out of bed. Showers really powerful although I had to wipe the limescale off the shower head before I used it which isn't ideal. As usual the telly was great, love that you can cast to them, most hotels you're stuck with a few channels that barely work. The telly is actually the main selling point of this hotel for me

Good location, comfortable stay, friendly staff

It was very convenient to be able to pre-check in online and then get into my room early in the morning, as I got into Glasgow early and it was good to be able to put my stuff away immediately and be able to enjoy my day. Within walking distance to bus station and metro, which was convenient. Everyone was so friendly and the staff were so helpful when I had questions about the city and public transport and such. Rooms were clean and the TV had a great feature that allows you to cast a screen from your device, which is nice. Breakfast included and amazing quality!
