Room unclean, noisy location, poor breakfast

Location isn’t brilliant, in the ‘wrong’ end of Stratford, and about a 15 min walk to Westfield, and a 30 min walk to London Stadium. Breakfast was really average, and the room was unclean when I checked in, with several bits of dirt, hairs & dust. Downstairs has been smartened up but is quite basic. The reception desk’s laptop was next to the beer pump, just to give you an idea. Rooms are pretty small, bathroom very cosy, and when choosing a room you can go for the very noisy main road, or the pretty noisy supermarket goods yard. If the other hotels nearer the main hub are only slightly more expensive, I’d go for those, definitely.

Good quality cheap hotel that outcompetes Travellodge by a mile. Nice clean air conditioned room, comfortable bed, diverse breakfast and friendly staff. Conveniently located in the heart of Stratford with a Nando’s just downstairs and a Morrisons just around the corner. Cheap and cheerful. I’ll be back.
