We stayed at the Ibis hotel when we visited Stratford for the Abba Voyage virtual concert. The hotel is in a great location as it only a short trip to the venue. The room was very good i.e, shower, coffee/Tea, comfortable bed, Air conditioning etc. The breakfast was fabulous, hot & cold items including Sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, waffle making facility, ham, cheese's, coffee, tea, toast, fruit & cakes etc. The staff were very welcome and courteous at all times. We left our bags in early before check in time which was brilliant. We would have no hesitation it staying here again when we come back.

Knowing ibis standard it was defo not up to them in terms of cleaning. It was not dirty to the point to ask for another room but there were hand prints on the walls, on the wardrobe, on the desk, curtains were stained. The toilet was meh, felt sticky. Overall the room was no super dirty but at the same point it didn't feel fresh clean. Big black rubbish bag in the corridor, there when we arrived and still there when we came back in the night at 23:00. Staff was ok but hard to understand where the check in point was. It was 18:30 and the door was closed. We thought we were maybe in the second/service entrance and had a walk around the building looking for another one, which obviously we didn't find, so we came back and the door was open for us from a staff member. We won't be back and if this was our first experience with the chain we wouldn't probably go back to an ibis in general. Luckily that was not the case. Hope the feedback is useful.

30 minutes walk to Abba Voyager. 10 minutes to Stratford station. Nice room, comfortable bed. But breakfast could be better (for that amount of money).

Room very clean, only issue was the bedding on the twin beds. There seemed to be two thin mattresses put together and they slid to the side of the bed whenever you turned.
