We choose Accor hotels because they guarantee certain level and standards wherever you go. You always know what to expect. We have been greeted and checked in efficiently, all the staff was extremly nice and polite. The hotel is very simple but there is nothing missing if you need to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are cozy, however the furniture looks quite old, dated. I'd like to have calmer colors on the room's walls (beige etc) but this is only individual preference. All basic amenities are provided (kettle, tea, coffee, shower gel, hairdryer). As for 2* rooms and bathroom are spacious. AC is working well, however it makes some annoying noise at night. Bar offers variety of drinks and small but tasty selection of snacks. We were missing only a chance to eat some real lunch/dinner in the hotel, but we were adviced to visit the nearby restaurant and it was perfect. We have been given free drinks during our stay (for Silver status guest). We have asked to buy some cookies/cakes for the coffe we have ordered, as it was quite early and we had no breakfast on the way to Łódź. We have been given a plate of local sweets from the bakery totally free of charge. It was such a nice addition to our stay and unexpected "bonus". Small things make a big change in the perception of the place but the most important are people who make you feel welcomed and taken care off, even if you stay in ONLY 2* hotel. I am a former Accor employee myself and I appreciate that the chain stays true to its values and highest customer service standards. Thank you for your hospitality.

Hotel without any charm and many bad feelings

I had a problem as they ask me to pay before getting the keys. I told them that I will prefere to pay afther as I fist have first to loock for my card code inside my lugage but they did'nt want to wait. No thrust for the client at all...! never saw it before.. So I paid in cash with my own money but as, I didn't receive ant tiket of payment - even if asked for - just a invoice and, my bookeeper doesn't want to pay me back. Many thanks Ibis, Novotel or what so ever. Inside impossible to open the window and the room had a bad smell that I will not describe. No afther shampoo. The breakfeast is ok. They charge to big extras for the car. it is 30% too expensive and I will never over take a room again in that group.
