I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The first night was acceptable room 137 the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and everything was in order. However, the second night was disappointing, as I was moved to another room that was infested with insects. The pillow had an unpleasant odor, forcing me to avoid using it. Additionally, unlike the previous room, there was no welcome water provided. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and while I appreciate the recent renovations, the quality of breakfast and the overall level of service have noticeably declined. The breakfast offering now feels significantly inferior to what was previously served.

We come here most years for a short break. The hotel is very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, staff are always helpful and friendly. Our room this time was in the recently renovated part of the hotel, and was attractively designed and pleasant to spend time in. I particularly appreciated the view over the garden and the birds (a pair of bulbuls, a brood of baby swallows) flying around the palm tree just in front of the balcony. One problem: the print on the complementary bottles of shampoo and shower gel is so small that they are very hard to tell apart. Could the labels be redesigned (not the hotel's issue, but the chain's) to make them easier to read? Getting out of the shower to get your spectacles so that you can read the writing isn't ideal.

I had a very pleasant stay at Le Medina Essaouira MGallery. The welcome amenities were thoughtful and I especially enjoyed the herbal tea prepared during turndown service. The bed was also very comfortable, which made it easy to fully relax after traveling. A special thanks to Fatima at reception for her kindness and warm hospitality throughout the stay. One small suggestion: it would be helpful if the hotel could provide printed information or a QR code with facility opening hours and hotel services for guests to access more easily. Overall, a relaxing and memorable stay in Essaouira.
