We are dissatisfied from our stay in Hôtel Mercure Annecy Centre because of the politics the manager is leading in this hotel. We have three kids (12, 10, 6 years) .The manager forced us to book 3 rooms because not more than 2 people can sleep in one room "officially". The stuff of the hotel understood very well that the third room will stay empty, because we can not leave a kid to sleep alone, but nothing changed. They charged total price of double room extra for a 6 year old girl, who slept in the bedroom of her parents. Taking advantage of such situation is awful. These people deserve the lowest place in social hierarchy!

However, I would like to make a few clarifications. You booked for 3 adults and 1 child (2 rooms) but arrived at 5 people in total, our rooms cannot accommodate more than 2 people per room for comfort and savety reasons, we had no other solution than to sell you a 3rd room. In order to please you and not to penalize you more, we have given you a 50% discount on this 3rd room, we were not obliged to do so. Doing only one's job and respecting the comfort and safety of customers is our role, it places us on the contrary at the top of the social hierarchy. We remain at your disposal if you wish to exchange more.

I got a parking fine because in reception they told me that outside there was no need to pay to park (either they do not know the info or do not understand English, both of them lack a 4 stars hotel). The room was tiny and red, which is not good for sleeping. They charged me the breakfast for 3 days when I did not have breakfast in the hotel

Good hotel for a short stay located in the centre of Annecy. A bit pricey for the service offered. Fairly bascic living although the beds and bathrooms are fine. The welcome drink as a platinum member is only offered to the card holder and the other room occupant gets nothing. Only hotel in the chin that has ever done that

On check in we were asked whether we would like our breakfasts delivered to our rooms and what time. Theses arrangements were made but the next day neither breakfast arrived. The receptionist said she had no way of refunding my money I had paid for breakfast but assured me that if I left my contact details someone would be in touch. On this occasion breakfast was important to me as it was early on a Sunday morning with no options to eat elsewhere and I had a long day at work ahead of me. Despite leaving my details with the hotel I am disappointed that no one has had the decency to contact me to discuss or even apologise.
