Staff were extremely accommodating, understanding and polite from reception to dining to guest services/housekeeping. Maintenance of the security of property was the only downside. Our initial room’s entrance door did not lock so we’re were moved to a king room with sofa bed & kitchenette. It wasn’t until the morning that my 13year old son with intellectual disability and autism discovered the “self-locking” door onto the balcony did not lock at all! I was grateful not to have younger children with me.

Room was a good size but needed to be cleaned better. Previous visitors. Logged were left behind an partially under the lounge. My 5 yr old grand daughter could stick dirty toys behind the lounge when she was retrieving her ball. The sofa bed wasn’t made up and I rang down to reception to ask if could be made up when we returned from dinner. I had to ring town again an hour later as no one came up to make up the lounge. This was included in my booking.

We had a family getaway for 4 days and this suited us perfectly. There were a couple of things that came up that should be mentioned: 1. The beds in our first room 1540 need new pillow toppers. Room 1542 was perfect. 2. The bar/lounge area often seemed dirty and needed a vaccum. 3. I think the lines in the tap beer need cleaning as the beer tasted quite odd.
