The hotel is one of the cleanest hotels in mainland China. The non-smoking policy has been appropriately kept. All the staff are very professional and helpful. Overall, I highly enjoyed the brilliant experience in Sofitel Zhengzhou.

The booking and the warm welcome on arrival was perfect. As an ALL member I received a very nice offer in advance and the hotel receptionist gave me a free suite upgrade due to my loyalty. The atmosphere in the hotel is amazing.

I recently stayed at the Sofitel hotel for 9 nights with my twins, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, and well-maintained, providing a great holiday for both relaxation and comfort for me and my kids. Whether it was at the reception, dining area, or housekeeping, everyone was courteous and helpful. Would have expected more for a 5 stars hotel

The rooms are starting to show their age, with outdated bathrooms and worn-out carpets. The breakfast experience was quite disorganized and messy. At the checkin the mentioned a room ‘upgrade’ , but I have been placed in the exact room type I booked and paid for (same name, same pics in the Accor app!) As an Accor Gold member, I did not receive any special recognition or greeting, which was disappointing. In comparison to European standards, this hotel would barely qualify as a 4-star property.
