Good overnight stopover

Nice quiet room at end of corridor. Electric heater provided in room, switched on and nice and warm on arrival. Although I arrived later than expected, receptionist was very efficient checking in and was able to provide food and drink in the bar area. Unlimited self service buffet breakfast provided a good selection, very quick and good value for money.

Staff are amazing - as an English couple they were great, supported and helped us in every possible way needed - basic room aswell as a heater, fan and fridge which we loved- sockets each side of the bed aswell as one in the bathroom- memory phone bed, very very very and I can’t say this enough - CLEAN Food was great from the restaurant and they also offer happy hour between 4pm -7pm Perfect location for travelling to fluerus, Charleroi and Brussels, buses and trains are easy to navigate and again staff are great - booked our taxi to the airport through the hotel and they come every 20 minutes for just 20€ (anywhere or anyone else wanted between 30/55€) We would recommend this 10 times over, we were there for 4 nights and have not one complaint, thank you for our stay - we will be back

Toilet smells, lightening need some upgrade.

Disappointing stay

I’ve stayed in Ibis in different locations before but this was a very disappointing stay. The rooms we got were on the 3rd floor which had no air conditioning, there were two electric heaters provided but one was not working. The room was cold. The rooms are also not sound proofed, we could barely sleep from the noise of the vehicles passing on the road in front of the hotel the entire night. The bathroom door did not close, no latch nothing. No electric kettle, no tea/coffee setup, no glasses. Basically you just get a room nothing else. Very disappointed, will think twice before staying here again.
