Perfect hotel for my daughter’s birthday

TripAdvisor rating 5.0/5

janeca7ver Families - TripAdvisor review

We stayed in this hotel for my daughter’s 13th Birthday. I emailed them to ask if they could offer anything to make it more special. They said they could , so I paid a little extra for balloon’s ect . However when we arrived , they had upgraded our room so we could see the Eiffel Tower . They had decorated the room . It was perfect. The hotel was clean , the shower’s were amazing . All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very yummy. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a few minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower too.

Wouldnt stay again

When we booked this hotel, it was listed as a 4.5-star and a luxury hotel on Love Holidays. This hotel is far from luxury. All the staff were rude, when checking they just asked for the city tax and gave me a key card, didn't show me where the lift was, didn't tell me any information about where the restaurant was or what times breakfast was, apart from the staff member KETSIA, who was really accommodating. The hotel was outdated and filthy; the Shower did not run well, and the bathroom was ridiculously small. The only thing that was good was that it was in a great location.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I sent an email before my arrival to inform them it was a special occasion, but I never received a response. From the moment I checked in, the welcome was poor. During a busy time, the staff was focused on training a new employee and completely neglected customer service. No one asked me about the special occasion I had mentioned. I requested a room facing the front of the hotel, but the receptionist ignored me. When I asked again, she told me the hotel was fully booked, which was not true, as many rooms remained dark throughout the nights of my stay. The room itself was dusty. I called to request extra pillows and sheets, and they told me I had to go downstairs to get them myself. When I did, I was given visibly dirty sheets and uncovered pillows. I pointed this out and asked for clean covers, and the staff member became visibly annoyed. When he handed them to me, he sarcastically asked if I was now “satisfied”—completely unprofessional behavior. Despite having the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, housekeeping entered the room. They didn’t change the sheets or properly clean—only added fresh towels and straightened the used bedding. The floor was not vacuumed at all, and I suffered from terrible allergies throughout my stay. In the end, I organized my special dinner at the hotel next door, where I was treated wonderfully. I will not return to Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel. Next time, I’ll stay at the Pullman, where they truly know how to recognize and value their guests.

Lovely Hotel - Perfect Location!

We had a lovely long weekend in Paris in April 2025. Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Rooms were a little small but tidy. Only negative was the Aircon was not working - something about not being switched on in winter months. Unfortunately this made the room very hot - it was the hottest weekend of the year so far with highs of 24. Location very good, I loved walking out to see the Eiffel Tower directly in-font of you. With only a 5 minute walk to the entrance. Metro is also not too far away! I would say perfect location. We had a few meals in the hotel - was superb! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I would return.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location.
