I very much like the Novotel Brussels city center. I had an executive room on the top floor that was wonderfully spacious, very clean and modern. Also, the restaurant and bar of the hotel are very nice. It is very conveniently located close to Pl. Sainte-Catherine which is a very lively area full of nice restaurants. Also, it is not far from the Grand Place and the surrounding areas full of restaurants, bars, etc. To eat fish, I very much recommend The Lobster House at Rue des Bouchers 34, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium. Also, this time I discovered a very nice, small and family run Chinese Restaurant offering really wonderful duck, it is Beijingya, Rue Melsens 8, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium.

The location of this hotel is so convenient as you are a very short walk from shops, restaurants, metro station and much more. This made our short stay so much easier as everything we wanted to see/experience was on our door step. Great location, amazing breakfast and the addition of the pool and sauna is great. The view of Saint Catherine is exceptional! Only downside is that the rooms are quite out dated and need revamping, the bathroom had wallpaper peeling off and the TV was extremely old.

One night stay en route to another location. Novotel was everything we wanted for this. Accommodations were excellent, staff were friendly & helpful, the hotel smelled amazing, and my daughter was mightily impressed with the Rituals toiletries!

You must really renovate the room, especially the toilet and the bathroom. It is so not inviteing. And there were also dust in the roof. We did not want to look under the beds...

This hotel survives solely because of its location. While the attractions are within walking distance and the rooms are relatively spacious, everything else falls well below expectations. The rooms are outdated, the breakfast is shockingly poor for the price, and the selection is almost non-existent. Serving the same limited food every day, with scrambled eggs and boiled eggs as the only hot options, is simply unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. The so-called wellness area is little more than a marketing gimmick. A 90 cm deep pool is not a swimming pool; it's a large puddle. The two infrared saunas feel like they exist only so the hotel can advertise spa facilities. To make matters worse, even basic toiletries are not provided in the room and must be requested from reception, which further reinforces the impression that management is focused on cost-cutting rather than guest comfort. Another disappointing experience was the lack of transparency regarding additional charges. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to ask about adding a second guest to my reservation. I was informed by email that the "additional guest supplement would be €112 for the stay," which I reasonably understood to be the total charge for the additional guest. However, upon arrival, I was asked to pay an additional €112 on top of that amount for breakfast, bringing the total to €224. Had this been clearly communicated in advance, there would have been no issue, but the wording was misleading and created unnecessary confusion. Having previously stayed at the Novotel Luxembourg Centre, the difference was striking. That hotel is miles ahead in virtually every aspect, from the quality of the rooms to the breakfast and overall guest experience. Based on that experience, I expected a similar standard here, but this hotel in Brussels fell far short of those expectations. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing stay and a poor value for money. I would definitely not return and cannot recommend it.

Our breakfast is regularly praised by our guests for its variety and offers a wide selection of both hot and cold items, including bacon, sausages, hash browns, mushrooms, baked tomatoes, beans, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, together with our other breakfast options. As for our wellness area, our swimming pool is deliberately designed with a shallow depth and is particularly suited to our many families and younger guests. We are also proud to offer a pool and wellness facilities, as these are an added service that only a limited number of hotels in Brussels can provide. We nevertheless appreciate your feedback and hope that, despite your overall impression, you enjoyed our central location and the spaciousness of our rooms. We stayed a total of three nights here and would definitely do it again. The location is great. It is located on a street that is not that busy but it is so close to all the restaurants and shops. My kids loved the pool and we went in it every day. The room was very nice and spacious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be that the mattress was really hard. Overall would recommend!

It was the second time I’d stayed here and enjoyed it greatly. The pool is a little shallow to swim properly unfortunately but it’s nice for a dip at least.
