We had not stayed at Mövenpick brand before, but were very happy. The Reception staff were most helpful and allowed us to have a 1 pm check out. We dined in the restaurant 3 times and the food, view and staff service was excellent. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice and I loved the 2 Smoothies on offer. Very good coffee. The 4-5pm chocolate happy hour was too tempting to give up. If we return to Wellington we will definitely stay again.

A perfect location to stay in Wellington when you want to explore, relax and experience chocolate decadence. The staff were amazing and made a point of making my wife feel special on her birthday.

Welcoming friendly staff. Clean, spacious, modern room with comfortable bed, blackout curtains and large window to sit next to enjoy the view of the city in the morning sunshine.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but we left feeling a little underwhelmed. Considering we were stayed for five nights in an Executive room it was disappointing that we were given a room at the back of the hotel with no view. The room smelt damp and lacked any sort of colour or vibrancy for a hotel of this standard.

We would like to gently clarify that the reservation was made for a Deluxe Room rather than an Executive Room. For longer stays such as yours, our team aims to allocate rooms on the quieter side of the building to ensure a more restful experience, which is why your room was positioned towards the back. Additionally, your room was on the highest floor we have available, providing the best combination of quiet and comfort for long stays. We are sorry to hear about the damp smell you experienced in the room. This is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. Had we been aware of this during your stay, our team would have been more than happy to investigate and resolve the issue or assist with an alternative room if available. Your feedback is very valuable to us as it helps us continue improving the experience we provide to our guests.
