I booked a room with an ocean or bay view for 4 nights. Since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we requested a room with a bay view. Unfortunately, we got an ocean view room, even though throughout our stay we asked the reception to accommodate us, at least for one night, a room with the gorgeous view of La Concha Bay. The reception staff did not care about our wishes, although during our stay, many rooms with a view of the bay became available and many customers came and went.

Our experience was extraordinary. The view over San Sebastien of course steals the show. However, the design features of the expansive common lounge and bar area really set this place apart. Rooms weren't quite as grand but were very comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Well located and a comfortable stay, but the connecting door between the two rooms made it feel like we were living with our neighbours. The second night wasn’t pleasant, even with the very good mattress.
