Despite accommodating and helpful front desk staff, we won't stay there again. The rooms and, in general, the property can do with a major reno. Very tired. The walls are paper thin. Cars are parked in front of each unit. Guests are bunched together. Many guests leave at 4:30-5am. One can hear a car starting like it was in your room. No need for an alarm clock. We were moved to a unit in the back after the first night. Street noise (Brand Hwy) was pretty bad overnight. Floors were always dirty (granted, Geraldton is very windy and dusty). The worse part of the stay was probably the beds - they roll around easily (very easy for housekeeping) but not convenient or comfy for guests. If you turn in your sleep, the bed will be on the other side of the room by morning . Don't sit on the bed and use the headboard as a backrest! Housekeeping is iffy at best. We usually go w/o housekeeping for 2-3 days (no need to change towels and linens daily) - which was a mistake on our part. No housekeeping on weekends so plan accordingly. Giving a rating of 5: 9 for customer service and 1 for value, cleanliness, and comfort.
