Though I can’t fault the staff or indeed the cleanliness of our room, we were very disappointed to find ourselves, after a long drive from Perth with a restless 4 month old baby in tow, in “Room 50” - surely the worst in the complex. The parking bay for 50 is situated in front of someone else’s room - the occupant of which was sat outside downing beers and smoking as we arrived and awkwardly, and a bit unnervingly, watched us unpack - and its situated almost literally on the highway. My bed literally was about 5 metres from the busiest road in Geraldton - serviced by booming road train trucks and 4WDs throughout the night - with only a thin 5ft fence and a rattling single window pane separating the 2. At the end of a long day on the road, all this room needed to provide me to score a 10/10 review was a good nights sleep. It failed miserably as I barely slept a wink and left more grumpy than I came in. Baby wasn’t impressed either but at least he was able to sleep in the car the next day! This room should definitely be fitted with double glazed windows and some trees to soften the noise from the road. If that’s not possible it should be kept empty to anyone that isn’t warned in advance “this is a noisy room - stay here at your own risk”. We were provided no such warning.

Nice and clean for the age of the accommodation. We wanted to eat in our room but no plates knives forks and only 1 teaspoon and 2 cups. It was very noisy as tradies that we’re staying there talking all night drinking all night slamming doors. Our room was in the middle of their rooms.

The location is good, the front desk staff was very friendly. The room is very dated and the shower drain smells quite a bit. For nearly $200 a night I expected better room.

Gentleman was at the desk. He took the time to welcome us and went through the necessary paperwork explaining what time dinner commenced etc. We needed an extension cord later and he got us one. Dinner was fabulous! Lots of it!

Located on the highway as you come into Geraldton, so not too far from town. The room was okay. They have no microwaves or cooking facilities in most of their rooms. We were lucky to score a microwave in our room and needed it as we had a 1 year old with us. Only stayed 1 night as we were heading up North. Not a bad place for a night or 2 as you spend most of your time exploring town and visiting tourist attractions. as we booked quite early we got a really good rate, almost $50 cheaper for the night!

Was friendly and helpful staff . Nice and tidy and comfortable. We just had some problems with contractors in the rooms located next to us. Their drunken antics kept us awake all night . Very unfortunate. We did call the desk to report it but it didn’t make difference. They just carried on.
