Have just received Gold Membership and ALL Accor and had first stay at Ibis Geraldton. Room was well kept, clean and tidy. After spending 3 weeks travelling, enjoyed a bathroom with decent water pressure for the shower that didn't leek. Comfortable bed. And definately enjoyed the complimentary breakfast,

The receptionists/servers at restaurant where friendly and helpful. Rooms where clean, furniture is a bit dated and only one power point near the bed is a bit of a pain. The bathrooms have a sewerage smell when the extractor fan is on, stayed in multiple rooms on business trips snd all had the issue. Main concern was the security, one of my work mates had a vehicle window smashed and belongings stolen, there was a camera facing directly at it but when they asked for the footage they where told the cameras don't work so make sure all your belongings are removed from your vehicle.

Took over 20 mins to get checked in as part of a group of ten, I was able to witness the numerous 'steps' the receptionist had to do to check each individual in. Compared to other places it seemed very excessive and bed was next level hard. I don't mind 'firm' beds but this was like sleeping on a brick

We had easy check in and out. The food was good and staff helpful and friendly. Our room was clean. The bed was on wheels and would roll away if when we sat in it or lay on it. The floor was linoleum and so on check out we mentioned that possibly there needed to be those little cup things or stoppers put under the wheels of the bed to prevent it from moving.

Normally a quiet restful place to stay however on some occasions it’s a little like a mining camp with reversing buzzes loud people doors slamming and drinking on the verandah

The room was uncomfortable and inconvenient, things you'd expect to be in places that make sense just weren't. There were no power points by the bed, the Wi-Fi almost non-existent with how much it cut out or didn't work. I had to pick limescale out of the holes of the showerhead just to have a decent shower. The fridge was making a horrible noise every night and the bathroom exhaust fan was somehow louder than the cars driving by. Do not recommend for anything longer than a single night.
