We have been meaning to stay at the Mantra Geraldton for a while now but a number of negative reviews have put us off a little. However our recent one night stop off on our way to Kalbarri was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. We wished we had stayed longer! First off we received a lovely friendly welcome from Lesley on reception. We were given a welcome gift of a bottle of wine and some tasty granola bars which was a nice start and then informed we were upgraded to a marina view two bedroomed apartment. The apartment was absolutely lovely - very clean, comfortable and with the most stunning views. We ate at the affiliated restaurant Skeeters in the evening but actually if we had known how lovely the apartment was we would have remained in enjoying the view and catering ourselves! A very friendly lady checked us out - apologies we didn't get her name - but equally as nice as Lesley on check in. Thank you to all the team who made our stay so enjoyable and recognizing our platinum benefits. We will most certainly be back.

Had this room booked for my wedding, had previously organised when booked at reception that it was to be two single beds not a double in the second bedroom, but when we arrived it was a double, so my groomsman had to sleep on the couch which was unacceptable. and also organised to have a 1:00pm checkout, when we got back too our room at 11:30am we were locked out key cards wouldn’t work. so had too get cleaners too unlock too keep too our wedding schedule. Would not recommend.

We are upgrade as the first room we got #40 the room wasn’t that clean and the balcony had not been cleaned for years ! In room #47; The dinning table was woolly, 2 of the dinning chairs were broken, tv until door broken, minimal plates and cutlery - one! Knive, no chopping board . The maintenance of the apartment was sub standard! For the quality you are getting its way over priced . Not acceptable

Overall satisfaction with the apartment apart from minor problems. For example blinds in bedroom not working, no instructions on microwave, one stove top element didn’t work and broken tiles on balcony not repaired ( caution tapes on floor).

We had a wonderful stay at the Mantra Geraldton. It was our first visit and as a Gold member, we would like to thank staff for the upgrade to a lovely apartment with a marina view. I was in room 40, not sure who is above, but it sounded like someone moving furniture from 9.00pm until after 10.00pm. Also, the heaters in my room were not functional. Didn't bother me too much, but a person who is sensitive to the cold may not have been comfortable.

In apartments are somewhat run down. Upon arrival, we experienced issues with access cards and this continued where security call was needed. The apartment ran out of hot water on day 2 (of a six night stay). In advising reception of this, there was no apology and it seemed like more of an imposition to attend to. It felt rather uncomfortable raising something in which I would expect better guest service.

I stayed for 12 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment with gated parking. It was a little tired but comfortable. During the stay I never once had the bed changed and the only service was 3 toilet rolls and 2 boxes of tissues were left on the table one day. I had a collection of 3 dirty towels in the bath that had built up over the duration of the stay as they were not changed.
