The hotel itself is fine, but the service is very poor. At the check-in, we were told that breakfast is in the second floor. I was genuinely under impression that the breakfast was included in the reservation, and the staff did not inform that this is not the case. We were also not informed that when the staff checked our room number for breakfast. At the check-out, we were charged 17 euros per person extra for the breakfast. This is an outrageous price for a breakfast buffet in Hungary and had we been informed that the breakfast is not included, we had chosen to eat elsewhere. Your staff at check-out promised to investigate the issue, but as I did not hear back for a week, I also wrote a complaint using the form on the hotel website. Still waiting for a response, and I guess I need to wait forever. This is completely unacceptable customer service.

Loved this hotel! The room on the 7th floor had a fantastic view of the busy city below, and all the amenities you could need (softer pillows were the only missing). The best things were the wonderful helpful and friendly staff, the quality and choice at breakfast, and the location- it is close to all the heat sights and activities. Would def stay here again.

Good hotel for exploring

The hotel is excellently located with Metro outside, walking distance to many sights and short taxi wait times. The hotel is bright and clean, coffee shops and convenience store across the street is very handy. The hotel ticks all the boxes for what you need to enjoy an active stay in Budapest, however if you want a luxury hotel stay or plan on spending a lot of time in your room this isn’t for you. The rooms are on the small side, our view was non existent and the air conditioning didn’t work. Don’t bother with the hotel bar, we felt like an inconvenience trying to order a drink and the team had limited experience in making a cocktail, including not knowing the ingredients of the signature cocktail on the menu so it couldn’t be done.

Nare F Families - TripAdvisor review

Absolutely Terrible Experience – AVOID THIS HOTEL I had one of the worst experiences at this hotel during my recent stay. If I could give zero stars, I would. One day, I returned to my room to find a dirty, wet, and moist cleaning cloth lying directly on my expensive clothes, worth €520. This included two sweaters and a pair of jeans, which I had specifically brought on my vacation to wear in photos and stay warm in Budapest’s cold weather. I have no idea what that cloth was used for—possibly cleaning the toilet or bathroom—but it had soiled my clothes, leaving them damp and filthy. When I took the cloth to the reception to report this, the staff’s response was shockingly dismissive. Initially, they offered to have the clothes cleaned, but how could I wear them again knowing they may have been contaminated by a cloth used for such unhygienic purposes? This was not just about stains—it was about cleanliness and dignity. I explained that I didn’t have other clothes to wear and needed the sweaters to go out in the cold. Their next “solution” was to suggest I take the clothes myself to a laundry house in the city because their in-house laundry service was closed for the weekend. This was absolutely absurd! I am on vacation, paying for my stay and time at the hotel. Why should I lose an entire day—potentially hours of my limited 6-day trip—just to clean clothes that THEY ruined? When I refused, they reluctantly offered a €100 compensation. This was an insult. My clothes were worth €520, and the €100 wasn’t even close to covering their value. It was clear they weren’t offering the money to rectify the situation but to silence me. To make matters worse, the staff, particularly the supervisor, were incredibly rude, unprofessional, and dismissive throughout the entire ordeal. Instead of taking responsibility, they acted as though I was a nuisance for demanding fair treatment. This entire experience was beyond unacceptable. A hotel should prioritize guest comfort and take accountability for its mistakes. This one did neither. DO NOT STAY HERE. If you value your belongings, your time, and being treated with respect, look elsewhere. This hotel completely ruined part of my vacation and offered no real solutions or apology.

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Xmas Markets. When arrived at airport literally walked out and got the 100E airport bus which let us off across the road from hotel only cost us about €5 was able to tap my card to pay. We had a nice corner room which was quite spacious beds were so comfy!! The reception was quite nice and staff were very pleasant, really nice bar and restaurant. Great for a night cap after a day of walking. Second night we had food which was quite nice bar staff really friendly. Didn't go for the breakfast in hotel thought it was a bit expensive and to be honest plenty of places to eat around. Was a great location for xmas markets about 15min-20min walk. Right beside transport station bus stop across the road if you didnt want to walk. Recommend downloading the Budapest Go App for easy acess for bus tickets. Everything was walking distance Danue, St. Stephens basicilla. We got a taxi on BOLT to the Thermal Baths which cost about €10 20mins away. We discovered the no.72 bus stop was outside the baths and we got that back to hotel which again stopped across the rd from hotel. This bus actually goes all the way to terminus Deak Ferenc which is right in the middle of all sight seeing areas. This hotel was perfect for sight seeing and comfortable rooms to stay in. Would definitely stay here again.
