its not novotel quality. the worst novotel I've ever been. The rug on the floor was disgusting. The bathtub doesn't work (can't pull up the plug when full of water). Bathroom is like from 80-90 everything was old and dirty. Toilet seat was yellow and cracked. only good thing was the view, Genoa lighthouse is right in front.

the room is clean, the personal are friendly, the pool is clean. The breakfast buffet was a bit chaos because you have to wait pretty long since you could not take it by yourself because of covid. the coffee machine could be a bit better.

We didn't use facilities other than our room and it was comfortable and clean. Breakfast, considering the pandemic situation, maybe could have been organized differently ? with prebooked schedules to avoid having so many people at once in a single lane for example. Staff was helpful, parking is a plus .

This time, I had the rare chance of being in the hotel in the afternoon. For some children the floor hallway was a racing track with unlimited noise making. Unfortunately their parents were not interested in minding their off-springs and I used my noise cancelling headphone to reduce the noise. The room with bed and shower facilities were good.

It was the worst hotel experience in my life. There were several issues as from our arrival… lines for checkin, room was not properly set up (we made reservations for a family room, but only one bed was ready), we did not have enough pillows neither blankets… safe was not working… staff was slow to solve issues and did not do it with care and courtesy… parking lot entrance broken, very tight parking spots, HUGE line for breakfast, problems to use swimming pool, etc… several issues which forced me to leave the hotel (and the city) one night before original reservation and lose time/money.

The hotel was very nice placed to sleep there for one night but its furniture is very old fashion not in a classic way, just old and kind of deteriorating on the carpet and shower. The A/C is pretty noisy. I think with a good refurbishment I will consider to go again there, otherwise you must lower the classification and princing.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and good value. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly. The location is not great, but we expected that. The main disadvantages were: (1) just two lifts (elevators) for the whole hotel, leading to long waits and (2) although breakfast was included in the price, there was a very long queue to get into breakfast so that it was not worth it.

We stayed twice at the Novotel in Genoa. The 1st time it poured rain and both rooms and the evacuation doors leaked like a sieve. Both times the carpet needed vacuuming in the rooms and the foyer bar areas. If not they need to be replaced. I dusted two cushioned chairs to sit on and plumes of dust came off them. But, staff on the front desk were excellent and you couldn't want for more. The lunchtime buffet was great and breakfast was excellent with a big variety to offer. Coffee and tea in all rooms would be better than just in some rooms. Yes I would go back again, but the carpet and water leaks need to be addressed.

Regular Novotel, Nice that they have a piano. When we arrived we got a welcome drink, but only for 1 px? So the rest (3 px) we had to pay?? (We never experienced this before) So this Novotel only uses the accor loyalty program to raise their revenue.

Nice hotel, good location close to the old center and the waterfront. On site parking and a good restaurant on site. Good breakfast, rooms are clean and staff are very nice to deal with. Would stay there again.

Bathroom not clean Bath tube plugged And the worst. The hotel did not provide the breakfast for my 5yo son as per Novotel policy. I don't recommend this hotel. It's far from the Novotel service standards.
