Stayed for one night. The first room we were given was a complete mess and hadn't been cleaned, with dirty bedding and leftover takeaway packaging. Considering it was early evening when we arrived this was pretty poor. Went back to reception and they immediately gave us a new room which was ok. Other than that slept well, breakfast was ok though bacon a tad undercooked and baked beans would have been nice. It was really useful to be able to leave our luggage in the storeroom for a few hours after we checked out as t gave us more time to explore Genoa freely.

My impression is positive; the staff was nice and very helpful. The beds were comfortable, we slept well. The room was quiet and clean, maybe the shower could be improved because it is very easy to make a swimming pool from the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent but some vegetables would be welcome. The location was perfect for us, very close to the motorway exit (we spent only one night ). Overall this is a very good hotel for the price.

Enjoyable but improvement needed

We stayed twice at the Novotel in Genoa. The 1st time it poured rain and both rooms and the evacuation doors leaked like a sieve. Both times the carpet needed vacuuming in the rooms and the foyer bar areas. If not they need to be replaced. I dusted two cushioned chairs to sit on and plumes of dust came off them. But, staff on the front desk were excellent and you couldn't want for more. The lunchtime buffet was great and breakfast was excellent with a big variety to offer. Coffee and tea in all rooms would be better than just in some rooms. Yes I would go back again, but the carpet and water leaks need to be addressed.

The personnel is polite and friendly but the hotel needs renovation, the beds are uncomfortable and the worst is the parking: the ceilings in some points are so low that we could barely find a place high enough to drive through and park and we had to use the wrong exit otherwise we would have been stuck

So far so good. But pressure of shower was too week to wash my hair/body... it is recommended to improve soon unless Genova city water network is not so sufficient to do.

Everthing was perfect and we were fully satisfied. For a three star hotel everything was fine, breakfast, our room, service, crew. The only thing we would point out is the windows were the clean as we expected but due to construction of the windows we acknowledge it!

Hotel was not easy to find when coming from the airport using public transport. Reception service was good. Room OK if a little dated. Bathroom needed some attention. Location uninspiring. Breakfast good. Servicing of room good.

Regular Novotel, Nice that they have a piano. When we arrived we got a welcome drink, but only for 1 px? So the rest (3 px) we had to pay?? (We never experienced this before) So this Novotel only uses the accor loyalty program to raise their revenue.

We had a recommendation to stay in any Novotel from some friends. However, it stood as a bad experience. The room and especially the bathroom was dirty. The sofa had the metal mechanism exposed with pretty much no foam above it so we had to ask for a blanket to put it above the “mattress”. The breakfast had some bright spots, nevertheless the eggs tasted really bad and had a greenish color, and again, the cleanliness was below standards. We had the opportunity to stay again with you in other cities of our trip, but we preferred not to because of our bad experience. Hope this helps
