The check-in & check-out were pretty straightforward. The room was comfortable for 2 adults & 2 children. The food was very good, with excellent variety. The bus stop is 2m by walk & so very easy to use the public transport. A good stay in a nutshell.

according to the price, in general our stay was not bad. I can't say it was very satisfying because the decoration and the standard rooms were like a 3 star hotel even if it was standard it couldn't be acceptable from Novotel.

+ Good location + Clean ++ Receptionist (Mr. Marco) very focused on providing support and a good experience to the customers - breakfast: replacement of placemats between customers but no disinfection of the tables - lifts unusable due to the slowness in getting to the right floor

when traveling on business is important to stay at a hotel where you can have meetings in bar area or grab lunch in its restaurants with people you are in country to meet with. i dont understand why if all guest have green pass we were not allowed to have lunch in your restaurant to discusse business. they were not even allowed to have a drink at bar while waiting for me to come down from my room. yes i understand Covid however if aeveryone had a green pass why not allow such meetings or lunches to take place in your hotel. you have a great location for traveling business men. however not having ability to meet with people at hotel is a big descouragement from staying there again.

I generally stay here as a convenient place having arrived in Genoa on an evening ferry. The hotel is well placed, has secure parking and a reasonable restaurant. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful whenever I have stayed. Genoa is not the easiest town to navigate and being easy to find is a real plus for me.

Please exclude the staff from this not so good review because they were excellent, courteous, attentive, professional… Please take this as a constructive criticism, again this has nothing to do with the staff, they were amazing. My room needed an urgent upgrade, it was clean but bathrooms tiles and edges were encrusted with grime that no cleaning personnel can remove. The bathroom had an infestation of flying insects, I killed about 45 in my 3 day stay and the carpet was colored beige once I guess and now taupe-grey with stains and I can go on and on. I can’t believe this hotel has the Novotel brand name. I have photos of all mention above.

Generelly it is ok, nearly to the highway, and you can park your there and go with the bus easily to the city center. The service is good. Sofa bed is very friendly to family trip. There are also some restrants in walking distance.

Good location - chaotic breakfast

Excellent location, cheap parking. Rooms a bit outdated but spotless clean. Big "no" is the breakfast. It's cheap, tasty and good quality but the "covid-organization" is pure chaos... We waited 30 min the first day and then needed to wait another 5/10 to have a table (as many people were "blocking" tables BEFORE they had food). Second day was even worst : the restaurant was really crowded, kids running not controlled (not 1 or 2, think more like 15/20), all tables full (again blocked by people without food). We decided to return back later - after 30 minutes the situation was still the same. So we tried to return after 10 minutes (when breakfast hours were almost finishing). It was a bit better and less crowded. IT's a pity : the personnel is nice, the quality of the products is excellent but the organization was really chaotic. Also, they should not alow people to block tables without food. This was frustrating and quite

its not novotel quality. the worst novotel I've ever been. The rug on the floor was disgusting. The bathtub doesn't work (can't pull up the plug when full of water). Bathroom is like from 80-90 everything was old and dirty. Toilet seat was yellow and cracked. only good thing was the view, Genoa lighthouse is right in front.

We stayed twice at the Novotel in Genoa. The 1st time it poured rain and both rooms and the evacuation doors leaked like a sieve. Both times the carpet needed vacuuming in the rooms and the foyer bar areas. If not they need to be replaced. I dusted two cushioned chairs to sit on and plumes of dust came off them. But, staff on the front desk were excellent and you couldn't want for more. The lunchtime buffet was great and breakfast was excellent with a big variety to offer. Coffee and tea in all rooms would be better than just in some rooms. Yes I would go back again, but the carpet and water leaks need to be addressed.

Regular Novotel, Nice that they have a piano. When we arrived we got a welcome drink, but only for 1 px? So the rest (3 px) we had to pay?? (We never experienced this before) So this Novotel only uses the accor loyalty program to raise their revenue.

Nice hotel, good location close to the old center and the waterfront. On site parking and a good restaurant on site. Good breakfast, rooms are clean and staff are very nice to deal with. Would stay there again.
