Staff were all very helpful. However, the stay was not worth 200 euro (I paid 100 and used my silver loyalty points for a 80 euro discount). The air conditioning didn't work in the room (not the right season apparently) with the result that it felt like 25 degrees in the room. Reception staff kindly changed us from room 922 and 919 saying it would be cooler, however we ended up sleeping with the room window open all night (big windows which allow little air in but a lot of noise). Overall a very poor experience as we didn't sleep well (2 adults, 2 kids): room too warm, finishing of the rooms badly done (looks newly done, but with little attention to detail i.e. dirty extractor fan in the bathroom, paint not uniform, seals in bathroom dirty, bathroom towels dirty. After this experience, I would be wary of staying in a Novotel as the 4 star rating is my view is more akin to a 1 or 2 star experience. Also, food in the restaruant was not abudant (cabornora in a very small bowl for 14 euro (!) and kids portions served on mini-plates - not very practical). I leave the review for your information only to try to ameliorate the hotel in any way possible, as said, the staff were all helpful and kind - only it seems unfortunately the hotel is trying to make margins in reducing the quality experienced and charging top dollar.

Room with no aircon, dated painting, marks of leak in the bathroom and disgusting breakfast
