Never going to stay at Novotel Paris Sud Porte de Charenton again

The only good thing to say about this hotel is the parking and metro is close by. The air cooling system doesn't work, and the only help to get was a fan. Awfull when you have a family room and stay 4 persons in one room and there is 35 degrees outside. The staff was not very helpfull. There is some kind of plastic between the mattress and the sheets, it makes it very uncomfortable to sleep in the bed. The room was not ready when we arrived. If you have food allergies don't by breakfast at the hotel.

needs to be renovated dirty toilette no aircon bad beds… breakfast too expansive stuff not trained with the system, promised to send corrected invoice after 30min of waiting, never received ( hugo)

First hand impression wasnt good. The receptionist was unfriendly. When asked if there was Any Way we could check in a little before 14.15, he just denied, without Any further investigation, awoidet all eyecontact and moved to The end of The desk and started to sort brochures. Seemed to me very unpolite and immature. The room was a superior double and surprisingly small for 4 people. It was Nice and clean. There was no hand soap No possibility of aircondition I am also unsatisfied with The fast that 270euro was being withheld from my account for security reasons. The Price it self is only a little over 100euro. I havent been told this uproblematisk booking. It doesnt contribute to a happy check-in All in all not an impressive stay.

Poor House Keeping

The hotel has a great location in a quiet area and near the metro station. But the house keeping is really poor. When we requested extra towels to the room, the reception guy asked us to go down to the reception to take these towels ! Also, one day our room was not cleaned, although we kept the sign on the door to be serviced ! When we asked about the reason, they only apologized and said that tomorrow they will have somebody to clean it !
