We made our student group stay at this hotel. The staff is totally non cooperative, they don't care about anything that guests have to say. The lady on the counter was very rude and chose to ignore all requests. One of the boys from our group found his bag open when he returned to the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great, but, noisy

The negative: the room was a bit cramped, and there was practically no soundproofing, so you could hear everything: every door open and close, the neighbours, the TVs in the other rooms, and even the alarm clocks in the other rooms! I loved everything else though! Great room layout, it's nice to have natural light in the bathroom! Comfy beds! Really friendly staff at the desks! And the location is pretty nice, not far from the métro, and in front of a nice canal, with the lovely park of La Villette close by

Stagnant smell

A bit further from the metro than I expected. Nice to be near the canal though. The smell when taking a shower and opening the tap in the bathroom was quite strong of stagnant/ drain. Not sure what it was.
