Nous sommes toutefois sincèrement désolés que certains aspects de votre séjour aient pu vous décevoir. Concernant votre arrivée anticipée, nous comprenons parfaitement votre déception, d’autant plus que vous bénéficiez d’un statut de fidélité ALL – Accor Live Limitless. Néanmoins, en période de très forte activité comme celle que nous connaissons à cette période de l’année, les arrivées avant l’heure habituelle sont malheureusement très difficiles à garantir, y compris pour nos clients les plus fidèles. La disponibilité des chambres dépend avant tout des départs et du temps nécessaire à leur préparation. Nous regrettons que cela ait pu être perçu comme un manque de considération envers votre fidélité. Nous souhaitons également préciser que les membres ALL représentent une part très importante de notre clientèle, près de 80 %, et que nous sommes donc particulièrement attachés à l’accueil et à la satisfaction de nos membres. Concernant les autres points soulevés, nous sommes désolés pour les dysfonctionnements rencontrés au niveau de certains distributeurs d’eau et de glaçons ainsi que pour votre expérience au bar. The hotel room and amenities were comfortable. However, the common areas were not as enjoyable. The pool is a bonus. The hot tub must be reserved and you must pay for it, which is bizarre. Your ALL Accor loyalty status does not matter here. Early Check-In is not honored here, despite communicating it to the Mercure Hotel team in advance, with mention of the loyalty status. The room was available after 16h00. The water/ice machines didn’t work at all water/ice machine stations, so it was required to walk all the way to the main building. There was never a person available at the bar to use our drink vouchers, as part of the ALL Accor loyalty benefits. The team was nice, but didn’t always acknowledge guests. We wouldn’t stay at this location in the future. We would likely stay at Ibis Styles, which is slightly closer to Old City Ajaccio.

The good: Nice employees with good English. Alright room for the price. Okay breakfast. Mostly clean and hygienic. The bad: It was dark in the hallway and reception at all times. Bad view from the room. I found a few hair strands in the sofa when we arrived and the duvet sheet had a hole in it. Pool area was too crowded.

The front desk staff is outstanding, Anita, Hanna and Pedro went out of their way help us find restaurants and interesting things to do in Ajaccio. The hotel offers an excellent location, near the city center but not locked in by big buildings. And additionally, the train station is nearby.

I had a great experience at the hotel, including the comfort, the fantastic breakfast, and especially the excellent service from the receptionists, who all spoke very good English. The only minor issue I experienced was not directly related to the hotel, but to one of their partner taxi drivers. I was informed that he spoke English; however, communication was a bit challenging, as he seemed to prefer speaking in French. At one point, the tone of the conversation became slightly tense, which made some of my trips to work during the week a bit uncomfortable.

The experience was made very enjoyable thanks to the great staff on the evening then morning of my stay. Pool is an important feature of that hotel, otherwise a bit further away from Ajaccio’s main activities.

We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff. When leaving, Pedro was very customer orientated and we had a good chat. He asked me to tell that he does not like the morning shift :) Breakfast was delicious. The possibility to park in the hall is a big PLUS.

I’d like to recognise the exceptional service that Pedro at the front desk. He was extremely courteous and helpful. Swift early check in , luggage storage and expert advice on activities suggestions in town. Most importantly, I can feel his genuine helpfulness which truly differentiates from hotel staff that I’ve met with in the past across all the stays I’ve had at different hotels.
