Service was excellent. Everyone on front desk was extremely helpful, even lent me a plug for my USB charger. But, small house keeping issues let it down. One bed made on arrival. Not 2 and I requested a twin. Only one towel given. Only 2 tea bags and we wanted one before bed and one before breakfast. Fridge didn't work and no USB charging ports. Decor in room was extremely dated. Downstairs was lovely though. Loved the kids and dog areas.

Lovely comfy bed, we slept well. The only issues we have is there is normally a lack of hot water at some point during our stay and the temperature in the room is always too hot for us but thankfully this time there was a breeze through the window.

Our stay was during the WST World Championship at the Crucible. The Novotel was very busy as expected being almost on the doorstep yet it ran smoothly without any hiccups or failures. The staff were polite and helpful. The room we stayed in was spacious and well presented. Unfortunately our itinerary prevented us trying the food but it was busy which is a good sign. All in we were very with the service and if the opportunity arises we will stay there again

Perfect location.stop here every year for snooker.nice hotel with pleasant welcome from receptionist.breakfast was good although lady taking our room number could have been a bit happier

Perfectly comfortable, nice stay. I appreciated having the pool (although it was very warm!) and a large room. The location is great. Unfortunately the toilet flush did not work. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice, I enjoyed the fresh fruit especially. The room could have been a little more modern / stylish.
