I stayed here with my family for 3 nights overall was a great experience Alice on check in was so informative she was a breath of fresh air! I recommend the restaurant! Rooms are slightly outdated and it is a shame about the construction. Overall good stay!

Very good location, you can actually walk to CBD. Room has a good view of Darling Harbour. Also walking distance to Star Casino . Breakfast is good but you have to be early as there will be queues after 8:00 am. Kudos to Eddie from concierge who was very accomodating and showed us directions to places we want to see. If only all staff are like him. Customer service at its finest. In fact , he’s the only staff And some staff from the restaurant who I can say made us feel welcome. I said this because checking in was a bit different. Honestly, I felt like all of them in the check in counter (except the Asian guy) are just playing their part and their responses to my queries were rehearsed. They were not welcoming and cold. So different from other Novotel properties that I have stayed. For the price I paid and my Accor Gold status, It was a bit disappointing to say the least. Anyhow, it didn’t tarnished my loyalty to Accor & Novotel.

Disappointing. Checked in on line day before it still took 10 minutes of paperwork ID verification credit card etc! Room has no information in it about facilities room service etc etc. Lifts are appalling waited 10 minutes for one to come on several occasions. Won’t be back!

My stay at the Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour was a truly wonderful experience. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered a delicious and impressive variety of food. On New Year's Eve, the outdoor seating area by the restaurant provided a perfect vantage point for watching the spectacular fireworks display.
