Overall we were disappointed with the quality of our hotel room. There were a number of elements of the room that were either fully broken or poorly repaired. The shelf in the shower had obviously been broken off, the toilet paper holder was loose and slanted like it was ready to fall off, and some of the outlets just did not work. The desk lamp had wire rigged on the outside of it to try to repair it, but it could not be moved into a useable position. With the size of the bed and the couch folded out for space for three people to sleep in the room, there was absolutely no space to move around or open up suitcases. The building's stairwell was visibly very run down, as the carpeting on every single step between the first and ground floor was ripped through to the concrete underneath. The first night we were in our room we noticed what looked like a blood stain already on the bed sheets. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow. The room did not feel worth the price we paid for it. On the positive side, the staff was helpful and the dinner buffet offerings were nice.

I booked this hotel for an overnight transit, but I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient it was. I was able to visit the Duomo quickly by tram, as the stop is right across the street. I also learned that the Winter Olympics were starting, which made my stay even more memorable and made me want to come back for a proper visit next time. Thanks again for the hospitality. We were there for the Olympics. The hotel was extremely convenient for the Santa Juliette Arena, and all the ice hockey games. Rooms were clean and big enough for us to use fairly comfortably. However, we prepaid for the breakfast buffet, and while it was on our reservation, it never made it to the restaurants list. We had to remind them every day we were there and even talk to the manager on duty at the hotel he saw our payment, but they still couldn’t get it right on the restaurants end. Minor inconvenience but annoying nonetheless. The breakfast buffet was good though it had the exact same thing every day. However, the buffet ended a little early during the week and the restaurant closed between breakfast and dinner. The bar did not open until 4 PM as well. The Barr‘s selection was also pretty limited. This was very shortsighted on the hotel’s part with the Olympics in town. They should’ve expanded all the hours for the bar and restaurant. The dinner buffet was also decent. It was certainly edible and we were not displeased. The dinner buffet did change some items on a daily basis. Our bartender, Nishi Was awesome! He stayed open late and took excellent care of everyone there. He is great at his job and great at customer service.
