Had a great stay but the elevators beeped when there was three of us on there when the limit was 5 people people and our door key never worked straight away we had to insert the card 5/6 times and even if it weren’t then we got lucky.

Room 334, on arrival lights not working, staff fixed (presumably fuse), suggested they replace the blown lightbulb in the room, the didn't. On night 3 or 3 lights not working again, repeatedly 'reset' and then ended up changing room. Why not actually FIX the problem permanently? Rooms looking tired, air con didn't work, not a major problem in March, but in hotter weather would be awful. Thick mattress toppers, sheet wrapped around the topper not the mattress, and the topper moves so overhanging the side of the bed... just make up the beds properly by tucking the sheet around the full mattress. Paid a lot of money for a very basic, not very well maintained room. Staff were helpful.

Room need a refresh…good bed, really a fantastic breakfast and very nice people at reception. Ready to give you help and good service. Having slippers and a coffee machine was also a good surprise

rosscoutts Couples - TripAdvisor review

Wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here, the reason I’d rate it 2 stars rather than 1 is that the downstairs lobby has recently been renovated and looks nice, while the reception staff are friendly enough. But, once you’re up at the rooms, there’s an awful smell of stale cigarette smoke, the beds are uncomfortable with just one small thin pillow each, barely enough to raise your head up. Walls are paper thin and loud noises all night, almost impossible to sleep. Couldn’t get the Wifi or Aircon working, room was far too hot (in March, with the window open). Bar advertised throughout the hotel but this had previously shut down and signage not updated. Was advised to use bar in another hotel. Positives - Friendly reception staff, room was clean (albeit dated and in need of renovation) & location was good. Just beside tram & metro stop. It’s the quality Id expect from a 2 star hostel, with a higher pricepoint.

Even if not close to the center, is easily accessible as near to metro and to other types of public transport. A bit noisy as the windows allow to much noise from outside, but even more noise come from the hallway.
