This hotel is under going a MAJOR renovation. Not just the facade, but the photos of the lobby are completely inaccurate. It’s all ripped up with plastic up, jack hammers going, and dust everywhere. Which you have to go past to get to the elevators to reach the rooms. There was no indication of this during booking, which I find very deceptive. The rooms smell very bad like body oder. We tried two rooms that were available, and both were disgusting. They tried to open the window to air out the second while we waited but it was still the same issue. Our family had the same issue with their room and were able to get the only renovated room left available. It smelled like wet paint still. So it was a pick your poison kind of situation. I will say these two positives, it is very close to the train station and the self serve coffee machine in the makeshift lobby is nice.

I booked this hotel stay unaware that substantial renovations are underway such that the advertised restaurant was closed, there were workers working at times outside our windows and getting to and from the elevators (and breakfast) required going through what was essentially a building site. The staff tried but appeared to be struggling with the situation that they found themselves having to work in.
