Had a great stay at Novotel Birmingham Centre! The room was clean, comfy, and just what we needed. Big shoutout to Marina, Jose, Julett, Salim, Tamanna, Marc, and Bogdan — they were all super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Service like that makes all the difference. Would definitely stay again!

Novotel Birmingham Centre was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary water in fridge (which we could also fit in extra drinks - very useful in the hot weather). Nice toiletries. Comfy beds. Superb breakfast and evening meal (we ate in the restaurant for one night). Catered for the children too. Nothing was too much trouble. My eldest child is disabled. He has Down syndrome and autism and they were very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

A sustantial, well presented and tasty afternoon tea, served by Jennet, who was a delight. A selection of finger sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream, two individual cakes each and 2 macaroon each. Choice of teas and coffees with unlimited refills. A glass of prosecco topped it off. We will certainly be returning.

We were told on arrival we had an upgrade to a superior room but I couldn't tell the difference which was disappointing. Staff were all lovely with my 2 year old at reception/breakfast- even when she rang reception for the 20th time from the room phone and told them "daddy is having a poo".

Fond memories of this hotel as a child where we'd stay regularly visiting family which is why I chose to stay here when visiting the city with my partner. So I was disappointed to find that although the main public facing areas down stairs have been recently refurnished, the rooms have not - stains on the carpet, old, tired, peeling furniture, picture hooks left in the wall with no pictures hanging there, broken glass taped up in the fire door and used cigarettes in a glass in the safe! Come on Novotel, you're better than this, this needs sorting. The only saving grace here is the staff who were courteous and helpful throughout the stay.
