My major concern is regarding the price/quality correlation. For the price we paid we'd expect at least an impeccable cleanliness (without an actual candy wrap lying behind the curtain) and a simple kettle with a couple of paper cups. So even though we've previously learnt not to expect anything extraordinary from Ibis, it was still pretty disappointing having some basic things off or missing during our stay.

However, we are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially concerning cleanliness and the lack of basic amenities. Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and we will address your comment about the candy wrapper behind the curtain with our housekeeping team to ensure it does not happen again. Regarding the absence of a kettle in the room, we understand how this might have been disappointing. As part of our three-star hotel standard, we do not provide kettles in the rooms. However, we strive to offer alternative services, such as our 24/7 café, where guests can enjoy a variety of hot beverages at any time. We apologise if this was not clearly communicated during your stay. Regarding the check in, unfortunately we are required by law to scan all the documents of Guests checking in as per our anti-terrorism laws. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify areas for improvement. Chaos made worse by rude staff

Geeemm Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Check in took forever - only two staff on the desk but many more floating about doing nothing. Apparently we were upgraded to a better room - it was so small I would shudder to imagine a standard room. Breakfast: no plates, no tables, no food, only four coffee machines and all broken. Asked if we could cancel remaining breakfasts because of the total disorganisation - the desk employee laughed and suggested we set an alarm to have breakfast earlier. Having to get up at 545 to have breakfast is brutal on what was meant to be a relaxing holiday. Bar staff were rude and didn’t say please or thank you. Breakfast staff huffed and tutted when a guest stated they had an egg allergy - they were very annoyed at having to show the allergen list. Customer service training should be considered in place of pointless green initiatives
