Very expensive for a very basic hotel room. No coffee/tea facilities and no mini bar in the room. Noisy bathroom ventilation. No power socket near the bed. Elevator was out of order. The hotel is being renovated. There was loud construction work going on and construction workers in front of our window. The staff at the check in was friendly though and the bus stop in front of the hotel is convenient.

The room and bathroom are of a good size. The problem was that the elevator was not working. Glad that my room was on a 1st floor. :-) The hotel needs refurbishment, so scaffolding are all around the hotel, but the guests were not informed upfront. For this condition of the hotel and taking into consideration that hotel is not in the centre, the price is to high. The good thing was that the staff was very kind and helpful.

IBIS in Utrecht is satisfactory, the service is excellent but for me the bedrooms are a bit too small. It was unfortunate that the entire hotel is covered with scaffolding and green netting at the moment as they replace windows.
