Well located, but bad experience

The hotel does not meet Mercure standards. The room and its facilities are extremely old and poorly maintained. The air conditioning is very noisy (it was impossible to use it because it was so noisy). The toilet seat is broken and the hygiene is poor. The bed is uncomfortable. The experience was not good. I arrived at the hotel very late and it was not possible to request a room change. Considering the price and its supposed classification as a 4-star hotel, it is disappointing that they keep the facilities without maintenance and renovation.

I was overcharged at my previous stay and only found out because I filed a company expense report. The invoice for the stay plus the consumption did not add up to what was charged on the credit card.
