Stayed here the weekend before Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. First room we were given had what looked like dried blood on the carpet, obviously this wasn't the best start to our break. We complained to customer service girl and to our surprise it was something she was already aware of and explained that it was spilled hair dye from the previous guests (hotel wasn't full so why give to another guest until cleaned up). We insisted on changing rooms as my wife was convinced it was dried blood) There was no apology for any inconvenience this caused, but we did change rooms. Rooms themselves were comfy and the new room well maintained. There were lots of small touches that made our stay enjoyable, sweet trolley, dj in bar, great christmas decorations, but the best was a separate area for Accor members at the breakfast buffet. We are gold members, so we enjoyed the less hectic breakfast we had in there. The whole hotel seemed well maintained. The staff we encountered were always pleasant, might use again, but initial encounter with guest relations and her attitude to changing our room, did let the hotel down

It was the worst date to stay at this hotel . TOO expensive for the quality. The original booking amount was *727.64 USD* (GBP equivalent) for two nights. However, at check-in, an additional *deposit* was added, and my card was charged a total of *870.76 USD*. I understood this deposit was to cover potential incidentals. During my stay: 1.⁠ ⁠Part of this deposit was used for a *breakfast on December 31st*. 2.⁠ ⁠The *breakfast for January 1st* was paid separately (30 GBP or approximately 37 USD). On January 1st, I noticed a discrepancy and inquired about it. I was informed that there was a misunderstanding regarding the deposit amount and was reassured that any remaining balance from the deposit would be refunded at checkout. Unfortunately, to date, I have not received the refund.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel and I've always found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. We were attending a function close to the hotel in the mid afternoon and arrived a little early in the hope we coulr check in to get changed, which was no problem at all. Room was clean and tidy and breakfast the following morning had a wide variety of choices. Will definitely use again.

I had the most pleasant stay at Novotel Hammersmith. Starting from the check-in, Ashish made the arrival procedure very smoothly. Also the India boy at the Bar, big thumbs up for serving us drinks. Overall, amazing experience. I’ll be back soon.
