Need to wait 1h at night even with reservation and call in advance

Came late with check in at night (1.45am) as announced beforehand by call. Needed to wait for 60 minutes before checkin. Very disgusting- would have expected a short call in advance esp due to gold member status to avoid this situation

Hi Jacco, Thanks for the mail. This experience for me is not so good. The first night 9th.Sept ,my room 211 is with water dropping noise. I have called recption to find the reason on 9th.Sept at around 11PM,but no one to check for me. The noise made me can not get into sleep the whole night. And on 10th.Morning,I talked to another reception; nothing checked. And on 10th.evening,when I get back to room,I heard the noise again, And reception helped me changed to Room 216 finally,she's so nice,the talk girl with big smile.Thank you.; And on 11th.Sept.evening and 12th.Sept morning.I talked to reception and my agent ,that's true for some personal schedule reason,I need to leave,and apply for cancellation of 12th,night room,you can sell to other clients. But failed to return back any fund to me. Though,See attachment,the letter I write to Angela.FYI. Thanks&Best Regards C. Yingmei

It was the standard novotel experience nothing special nothing bad. My shower head was not in a good shape other than that very standard.
