The Sofitel is in a great spot so close to the Oasis centre. Our room had a wonderful The Sofitel is so close to the Oasis Centre, shops &. restaurants. Our room had a view view overlooking the park &. the river. At night the views also looked great, with all the lights in the trees in the park. Breakfast was also delicious. The only negative is the bathrooms really need to be updated . They were the same in 2023. Regards, John &. P. M..

Great location but the hotel in a desperate need of a refurbishment.

It was not the best experience from this hotel. Within the first 24 hours, we had to get pillow cases replaced as they were worn and threadbare, lights required replacing as they were flickering, beds were creeking, and toilet seat needed replacing in one room an the other room had a leaking toilet! The staff were helpful but not what you expect from a 5 star hotel.
