The staff was professional and good. hanlde most of our enquiry. The room is ok, as the hotel was busy, i am not sure whether thye gave us an upgrade. No welcome amenity. As an accor elite, i did not feel i was treated any differently. breakfast was good (had to pay). the gym is well located and had a good view of the copacaban beach.

The hotel is well located, but it should be an Ibis at best. It is far away from the what Novotel looks like, esp in Europe. The highlight of this property is the rooftop, which is nice. We’ve booked a 2-night stay which became a 1-night due to a cancelled flight from AMS. The stay was prepaid and I had informed the hotel about the incident, they still posted it as a 1-night stay with the charge for the first night not counted… I guess they could treat their gold members better….

We had a total of 3 people and had a family room booked upon arrival our room only had one double bed. Front desk staff sorted it out ok. Elevators need to be reprogrammed with only 1 button has guests continue to push all buttons and you are constantly stopping at floors with no guests there.Other wise we enjoyed our stay. Staff at restaurant for breakfast and dinner were great.
