The accommodation provides excellent manicure gardens and facilities which allow us to recharge from the busy life. Basildene Manor lifts your stress the moment you drive in. The staff who welcome you are super friendly and nothing seems too much. The environment is beautiful and feeds all your senses. Manicured gardens, BBQ’s, swimming pool, gorgeous conservatory. Well worth spending time here. Do yourself a favour. You’ll come back again and again like I do.

The grounds, building and rooms are the epitome of sophistication and elegant country style. The staff were extremely pleasant welcoming and helpful. We didn’t indulge in the breakfast but enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cake in the delightful conservatory sitting room. We only have one complaint. Unfortunately the loud banging/slamming noise from the room doors around and above us were terribly intrusive and annoying. This noise continued one night well into the night and was excessive and constant. A problem that could be easily overcome by installing soft door closing adjustments. We wouls have rated 10 /10 if it wasn’t for the door slamming noise

The overnight stay was one of the worse due to the weather. The staff were as usual, friendly and very helpful with organising lighting for each guest. The downside about the stay was the accommodations did not have any hot water in the morning. The hot water system was dependent on electricity.

A great place to unwind, large comfortable beds and well maintained facilities. We enjoyed the delicious continental and/or cooked breakfasts each day before exploring around Margaret River. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the grounds are beautifully kept and full of colour and bird life year round. Always look forward to the daily afternoon tea cake that Basildene puts on.
