Everything was great but was disappointed that I was not given anything to compensate that the pool was under construction and the website did not mention it at all. I could have stayed at the Savoy.

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Buenos Aires with very helpful front desk staff. However, the hotel rooms are small, the restaurant staff don’t really speak English, the pool was never open during a week long stay, and the menu at the hotel restaurant never changes.

Great location but standards need improving.

We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning and 2 nights at the end of our trip. The positives are the beds are comfortable the rooms are spacious enough for 2 persons. Having a kettle was great as none of the other hotels we stayed in had a kettle as a standard. The negatives; the taps were loose and almost falling off the wall (room 403) or rusty and crusted with limescale (room 516). The sliding door handle in the bathroom was missing in room 403. The rooms are also very hot and the aircon/heating control panels were glitchy. On the whole, a refurbishment is badly needed or at the minimum, a deep clean especially the bathrooms, around the windows and marks on doors, cupboards etc. We have stayed in Novotel in various countries, and I am sorry to say this is the worst.

Great rain shower but had to keep minimum flow of water open otherwise the water would not be hot. Almost warm. I hate cold showers.
