We have been staying at the hotel on our wedding night and the night before. We had a room with a stunning view over Cologne and a beautiful balcony. We received a small marriage cake to enjoy, and I had a special hanger for my wedding dress. I loved the way they took care of even the smallest things. Thank you!

Friendly reception as always by Mr Wismann (?) and his colleagues. Restaurant prepared a Burger for me even though I only arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen would close.

Lovely hotel, very clean and in good order with a great location. Reception staff generally efficient and breakfast was really good with a fantastic service. Unfortunately the bar lets it down quite badly with very poor service, made up rules, barely average quality food at a very high price. On the saturday evening, I came back to the hotel at 10:50 pm and went straight to the bar to eat some food. I was told: "NO, the kitchen is closed". I then asked if i could get room service which again was a big: "NO". The bar staff advised me to go and get something to eat outside the hotel although it was raining. I did go out to eat but on my return I checked the room brochure which clearly indicates that room service is available until midnight ( i took a picture of it in case you're doubting it). I therefore went to reception to ask for some clarification and was then told that the last order for room service is 10:30pm....??? I argued that I was lied to but the reception staff told me it was a mistake and they were sorry. They also told me my complaint would be forwarded but of course I never heard anymore of it. I am unclear as to which version is correct but nowhere on the website or in the hotel the customer is advised of this made up rule(s). It appears that the guests of the hotel just have to accept it and keep quiet. I am therefore left with the feeling that the hotel on this occasion treated me like an inconvenience who just wanted to cause trouble. This very casual attitude towards me is in my opinion calling for a great reminder of what a customer is and for your printed rules to be clear and adhered to. I can only describe the bar staff as: Clueless, unhelpful and untrained. I sincerely hope you do whatever is necessary to make them behave more professionally.

Overall the hotel was beautiful, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We woupd definitely be staying here again. My only negative would be about the staff. We asked at reception if they had any details of tours or activities and we were told no. Then we asked the bar man for a cocktail and he informed us they didn't do cocktails but if we wanted one we could walk to a cocktail bar about 15 mins away, we just stayed at the hotel. We then asked if we could get some beer mats as we're were going to take our drinks to our room and they said they couldn't and gave us some napkins instead!! It was only when we arrived home that we read that the hotel had a beautiful cocktail rooftop bar!!!

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff being incredibly friendly and professional. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the large windows offered a stunning view of the city from the 11th floor of the hotel. One of the hotel's standout features is its excellent location. It’s conveniently situated close to the city center, within walking distance of many major attractions. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable and fast, which was particularly important for me as a business traveler. I also had breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, which provided an impressive variety of options, from delicious local dishes to international favorites. I highly recommend the Pullman Hotel in Cologne for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and top-notch service in a central location. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit.
