Good location as very central. But we had huge issues with finding an electric charging point, as 2 of your points were out of order and the other 2 were already taken. When asked staff to help us find somewhere else, they were very unhelpful and basically just said ‘I can’t help, I don’t know’ which isn’t really good enough. Only when my friend pressed them to help us, she reluctantly agreed and gave us 1 solution. Their attitude wasn’t what I would expect from your hotel, it’s almost like they were students who just couldn’t be bothered to work that day. It took us over an hour to find a charging point, which wasn’t ideal given we were only staying 1 night. I would say the room was average, it was clean but old fashioned and the bathroom could have benefitted from a refresh. We could also hear the people in the next room through the adjoining door. Would I stay again? I’m not sure, I’d probably look somewhere else!

Hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of all the Christmas markets. This was our second time staying here, we also stayed here in December 2023. Our room was a nice enough size. The TV doesn’t have any English channels and although it shows it’s a smart TV, it wouldn’t allow us to connect to it. We were walking around 10 miles a day, so it would have been nice if we could relax in bed with some English channels. We came back to our room one day to find our bedroom window wide open. I wasn’t sure why house keeping opened it and left it open. On one of the mornings, we felt warm so opened the window ourselves. We could smell smoke from a cigarette, which was strange as we were on the 5th floor and I couldn’t see anyone outside on ground level. When we left to go out, we saw the house keeping trolley and there was a packet of cigarettes on it. We assumed the guy cleaning the rooms must smoke in them and that’s why our window was left open and that was why we could smell it. It must have been coming from the room next to us that he was cleaning. We didn’t find all of the staff very friendly. The day before we were leaving, I asked if we could have a late checkout as our flight wasn’t until the evening. A very rude girl on reception said they were fully booked. She didn’t actually have a look to see if they were and she barely looked up from what she was doing. I checked on the hotel website and saw they had rooms available to book for the following day, so I went back to reception to ask why we had been lied to. I spoke to a more polite young lady who told me they have to save some rooms in case someone with no arms needs it. I have no idea what this was about and I gave up trying. The staff of the hotel let it down.

Insults from the Front Desk and Challenges with Itemized Billing and Service Standards During Business Travel The highly detailed bill I received has posed significant challenges for my business travel. Company policy permits reimbursement for room rates that include breakfast and half board, but not for miscellaneous hotel food/ room service. However, the half board package, as outlined in the booking confirmation, was broken down into four separate charges on the invoice: 1. Accommodation 2. Breakfast food 3. Breakfast beverage (never seen this being separated from breakfast food) 4. F&B Hotel Food (in many hotels, this appears to be the same as room service) This breakdown is unprecedented for me. As a result, only the accommodation cost is eligible for reimbursement since it does not explicitly indicate "half board" or "room and breakfast." Unfortunately, the experience worsened when I spoke with the front desk. I politely inquired whether it was possible to receive an invoice clearly stating "half board" or "room and breakfast + dinner." Ms. J.G., who was on duty, responded with condescension, saying, "If that's not something allowed by your company, why would you do that?" She further insisted that "F&B hotel food is not room service," suggesting I educate my finance department on how to interpret invoices. It seems she has little experience with reimbursement processes. I strongly encourage management to review our conversation via the CCTV footage to understand how a hotel guest feels in such situations. The hardware is noticeably outdated, as there is no USB plug in the room, and converters are unavailable for borrowing from the front desk due to high demand. The only option is to leave my phone at the front desk, which has three charging slots, but only one is compatible with the latest iPhone models released in September 2023, over a year ago. I typically bring a converter with me, but after losing my luggage upon arriving in Cologne, I expected the hotel to provide some contingency assistance; however, not received. I have always appreciated the standards of major hotel chains. In the past, I primarily registered with Marriott Bonvoy, Hyatt World, and IHG loyalty programs, and regardless of my membership tier, I found staff to be well-trained and services to be consistently high-quality. However, after more frequent travels in Europe, I've discovered that the All Accor chain has many conveniently located hotels and started to use the hotels more often; however, never been disappointed like this time. On a positive note, I must commend the bedding in this hotel; the sheets and mattress are among the best I've encountered. Additionally, breakfast was quite decent. However, the overall service experience has left much to be desired.

It is very closed to Neumarkt area, we could reach every where by walking. Very clean and especially free of charge mini bar was exiting. The only thing that I can say that breakfast room was bot suitable for the busy days. Everybody was so helpfull but ir didn't effect the waiting for breakfast. Thank for your effort and great coorparation.
