overall the stay was wonderful and comfortable. i just have one minor issue: the turndown service woke me up when i went to sleep by knocking several times, waiting, knocking again and then still not leaving, so i ended up having to get up and ask them to leave. i was thrown off because i was asleep and i had seen a sign about being careful who you opened the door to, so i was a bit concerned until i learned the following day that it was turndown service. the next day they came earlier, which was nice, but i was in the shower and again they knocked several times but wouldn't leave so i had to leave the shower to say that the service wasn't needed. this was the only real negative of the stay. everything else was lovely.

From the moment we arrived at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra, every staff member went above and beyond to make our family feel genuinely welcome and valued. The level of hospitality was exceptional, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful variety of high-quality options. The concierge went out of his way to help us arrange activities, the front desk team was consistently efficient and helpful, and the housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and thorough. Pools were clean and well-staffed.
The Champagne Bar was top-notch, and the cooking class we arranged for our children was exceptional. The kitchen team made the experience truly special, going well beyond our expectations.
What impressed us most was the consistency of the service. Every single employee we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help. This wasn’t just excellent service from a few individuals—it was a hotel-wide commitment to hospitality.
Without question, this was the best stay we’ve ever had at an Accor property. The Sofitel team has set an exceptionally high standard, and we would happily return.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel. My girlfriend and I both agreed that this was one of the best resort experiences we have ever had.
We were very grateful for the room upgrade and the beautiful view of the garden and pavilion. What impressed us most were all the thoughtful little details — our room was always beautifully prepared, our clothes carefully folded, and even our own towels were kindly hung up for us. The welcome fruit, beautiful orchids, and local scarves were also lovely touches.
The staff were warm, respectful, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed dining at the hotel restaurant.
