Flexible Cancellation Policy

The situation has now returned to normal in the Gironde department, France.

As the wildfires have been brought under control and all restrictions implemented by the local authorities have been lifted, Accor hotels across the region are now fully operational and ready to welcome guests under normal conditions.

All hotels are open, reservations are operating as usual, and our teams remain fully committed to providing every guest with a warm welcome and a seamless stay.

Should you still prefer to adjust your travel plans, the exceptional flexibility measures remain available. You may choose to postpone your stay to a later date or modify your booking free of charge, offering a simple alternative to cancellation. Our Customer Care team remains at your disposal should you have any questions.

Eligible guests may modify their stay free of charge. ALL members who postpone their stay may also benefit from a Reward points bonus in accordance with the terms and conditions of the offer. If postponing the stay is not possible, eligible guests may also cancel their booking free of charge and receive a full refund.

Please note that, in the event of a booking modification, the rate may vary depending on the new stay dates. In such cases, any fare difference will be payable directly at the hotel.

1. Guests with a booking in a hotel located in the Gironde department, France

Guests who have booked a non-cancellable, non-refundable stay in a hotel located in the Gironde department (France) and who are unable to travel due to the wildfires and their consequences may modify their stay free of charge for a later date or cancel their non-refundable booking and receive a full refund without penalty.

Conditions:

• Arrival date up to and including August 2, 2026.

• The guest is unable to travel, or chooses to postpone or cancel their trip in accordance with recommendations issued by local authorities due to the wildfires, including their impact on transportation, access to the destination, safety measures, road closures, evacuation orders, official travel advisories, or any other disruption affecting the area.

   

2. Group reservations, meetings and events

Conditions may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis. Accor is committed to supporting clients with upcoming meetings, events, and group bookings.

• Attendees of meetings, events, or group bookings at affected hotels are encouraged to coordinate any change requests or special requirements through their company’s designated contact or travel organizer. Whenever possible, Accor encourages the postponement of meetings, events, and group stays to a later date.

• Organizers of meetings, events, or group bookings at affected hotels should contact the hotel directly or reach out to their Global Sales Representative to review the available options.

• In accordance with this exceptional policy, eligible group bookings may also be cancelled without penalty and receive a full refund when participants are unable to travel or choose not to travel in line with recommendations issued by local authorities due to the wildfires and the measures affecting the region.

Accor remains committed to providing flexibility and support to its partners and clients during these exceptional circumstances.

Accor’s cancellation policy described above applies to all bookings, whether made directly with Accor or through a third party.
